It is more important to understand the similarities between Miep and Anne rather than their differences. This is because their similarities demonstrated that although they were of different religions, they weren't as different at the Germans made them seem. Anne Frank was a young Jewish girl whose family as well as her had to go into hiding because of the Anti-Semitism in Europe as well as the Holocaust. Miep Gies was an older Christian woman who helped hide Anne Frank and her family during the time of the Holocaust. She put herself into a lot of danger by helping the Franks.

His evidence is on page 19 of the Anne Frank Remembered novel by Miep Gies. He thinks that they are different because Anne is worried about what is going on inside the Annex, with her problems and conflicts with the Van Daans, while Miep is worried about what is going outside of the Annex and across Europe, with the Holocaust. “It was hard to know what was going on. In the official newspaper there was nothing but lies” (pg 19 AFR). Even though my partner thinks that this is a strong piece to support that Miep and Anne are mainly different, the evidence that shows they are mainly similar is stronger.
Also on page 22 of the book Anne Frank Remembered by Miep Gies,¨I had a deep longing for an understanding of life.¨ Anne and Miep both had a strong longing to understand the meaning of life. This made their connection even stronger which resulted in them getting along very well. Miep was one of the only people that Anne could get along with during their time in the Annex. Anne learned a lot about life while living through one of the toughest times in history. Miep learned a lot about life during another one of the toughest times in history. This is just one more way that they are
To sum up, these are the differences between Anne Frank and Gerda
Miep is a very thoughtful and giving person and this is a reason why Miep should win the Memorial Medal Of Honor. Miep is thoughtful because she kept Anne's diary safe while she was gone. Miep was also very giving she bought Anne a new pair of red heels for her to wear. Meip goes out of her way to do thing the Franks did not ask for and the things they did ask for.
Miep was an important person when it came to helping the Franks, especially Anne. Miep kept Anne hidden long enough for her to write a lot in her diary(Metselaar). Even after Anne and her family were arrested Miep made sure to go back and grab her Diary to preserve it(Raoul Wallenberg). Miep says that had she read Anne’s diary she would have burned it(Grady).
Did she have the baby? Did anyone ever suspect Miep of hiding Jews? Why would she risk getting in trouble to help them? Did Miep and Mr. Frank remain friends after the war? What was Miep’s attitude towards the Frank's hiding?
Anne Frank and Miep Gies are two individuals who were directly involved in the events of the Holocaust. Anne Frank was a teenage girl who kept away a diary while hiding from the Nazis, while Miep Gies was one of the people who helped hide Anne and her family. Despite being in different roles, both Anne Frank and Miep Gies played significant roles in documenting and preserving the history of the Holocaust. They both had experiences during the Holocaust and their contributions to Holocaust history. Some many similarities and differences need to be expressed in this essay.
Anne was 15 years old when her family was found, captured, and sent to the concentration camps, which is where she passed away because she was very sick because she wasnt getting cleaned, and also fell for a disease that was contagious and spread easily. When Anne was in the concentration camp there wasn't any food source. Anne Frank was also only 15 years old when she died, she was too young for the kind of sickness that she had. Anne Frank and Elie Wiesel were a lot alike, just like the fact that they were both 15 years old when they went to Auschwitz, and even the fact they both went to Auschwitz concentration camp. Even though Elie spent most of his time in Auschwitz and Anne spent most of her time hiding, they experienced the same pain.
She took responsibility for them even with the risk to her own life. If must have been very stressful having to take care of the family’s with Nazis around every corner. This all shows that Miep is good at heart. Despite the evidence and explanation given so far, some people may still conclude that Anne’s statement is incorrect.
Risked other people finding out that the Franks, the Van Daan, and Mr. Dussel were in hiding. Courage just by helping out with their problem she did not have to help them, she could have said “no” not have helped. Just helping took a lot of courage for Miep to do, not being caught by the Green Police, people not finding out that she hiding people. In Anne Frank Miep had a lot of courage and will to do what she had done. Compassion, two people within the Annex, Peter, and Anne.
