Whether it be a person reading a book as an assignment, a person learning a recipe to make a nice meal for their loved one, or even a head military leader being inspired by a strategy book written by a former soldier of another country. In fact, it is almost impossible to not see a book at least once a day. However, technology is advancing at a great rate and digital books are becoming evermore popular. The older generations gained most of their knowledge from paper sources. Having to travel to the library and searching for information in books that may not even be relevant anymore. Now students can find so much information using a computer. The convenience of this is substantial. Books takes up lots of room, though that is a charm for many people. The cost to produce millions of copies of books compared to digital distribution shows how much an another or publisher can save. In a smaller scale, a teacher can print off copies of an article for their students to read for homework, or they could give them the link to read it on a computer or phone. With these changes, there has been very many studies and debates about the benefits and disadvantages of reading text from a paper source compared to digital sources.
