My definition of having a strong character is being kind, thoughtful, respectful to others, and to treat others as you want to be treated. These characteristics also define who I am as a person, I put others in front of myself and always treat others as I would want them to treat me. An example of this Mike Smith’s quote “Speak for the silent and stand for the broken”. Last year’s leadership class took a trip down to Michigan State University to listen to motivational speaker Mike Smith, he told us about what he did to help others and what we could do to help others.
