When he goes back to school a lot of his peers were either scared or angry at him because before he had amnesia he was a bully. Now he has to figure out who he is and who he was. In the beginning of he book Chase Ambrose wakes up in a hospital after the accident he had of falling of the roof of his house. He doesn’t remember what his name is, who his family members are or what he was doing before he fell off the roof. He feels confused and when the doctor comes in he tells everyone that he has a dislocated shoulder and amnesia.
Homes was a shy child but got angry at his mother for moving him at a young age. He’s mother stated he was “awkwardly social” and at the age eleven attempt to commit suicide. Although he wasn’t socially accepted he was able to be accepted to a university. Holmes life changed when “three days after failing a key oral exam at the university in early June 2012, Holmes dropped out of his studies without further explanation,” (“James Holmes”,2018). My theory is he never felt accepted and after failing in college he was confused on what to do.
One boy wrote about how much he wished that the country could be democratic. The next day, both the student and the teacher disappeared. Then, we learned how Beli messed up with Trujillo’s family but managed to survive. We also learned that Beli’s parents were cursed by Trujillo, too. Everyone who was close to her father were dead including his mistress, and his two beautiful daughters.
I observed my son, Orion, during story time with his father, Louis. Orion just turned four in October. He is currently attending early intervention for speech and social delays at the Catherine Dodge Brownell School in the Bronx, and had began his attendance there at the end of the last school year. Every night Orion is read to before bed. This night was his father’s turn to read.
An incident occurred between a father and his son, where the son murdered his father for a ration of food. Also a Gypsy had attacked Elie’s father when he asked where the bathrooms were. Sadly, Elie doesn’t escape this horrific fate. When his father had grown sick, he had to stay in a cabin with others who were sick as well. Elie tried to help him, but he soon grew tired of helping his father and felt relieved when his father had died; he felt free.
There needs to be more of a effort to check in with mentally ill people. Nikolas Cruz, a nineteen year boy old that suffered from autism, depression, and lots of others mental health issues, killed 17 students at Stoneman Douglas High School. Both of his parents died and he had no other family members to turn to. When his parents passed away, he lived with his friends parents. He got kicked out of Stoneman Douglas High School and was working at the dollar store.
Unfortunately, he was unable to see his family due to rebels attacking. His mental state was heavily damaged at that point. Waiting years to see your family again just to see them killed is truly depressing. When Ishmael started to train as a boy soldier, he soon became determined to avenge his family. This is shown when the lieutenant was brainwashing Ishmael, telling them to kill the one that killed their family.
Just from the word bastard, the audience is able to understand the very judgmental life Hamilton faced since birth. His father’s rejection and abandonment left him with his dying mother, Rachel, which resulted in Hamilton becoming an orphan at the age of thirteen. Chernow also discusses how “Rachel, James Hamilton, and their children moved from Nevis to St. Croix, where Rachel had once been imprisoned for several months on charges of adultery, and how James Hamilton abandons Rachel and his natural children shortly after arrival, leaving young Alexander without a father figure” (Miltimore). After being left on his own, Hamilton faced many tragedies, but he was able to overcome them and accomplish many things. Since Hamilton 's mother had been charged with adultery, she was viewed as a whore.
The main character of the book Locomotion which is written by Jacqueline Woodson is about a boy whose parents were killed in a building fire when he was 7 years old. Lonnie and his little sister Lili were separated and put into a different foster home because the foster parent didn 't want to have a boy in her house. The conflict in the book is Lonnie 's struggle to find a way to live with what happened to his parents and his little sister not being with him. On page 5 the poem memory depicts the memories he has oh holding Lili in his arms while they look outside and how his mom used to think that he dropped Lili when actually he didn
Sometimes kids may both be bullied and bully others or they may witness other kids being bullied. “Bullied victims are seven to nine per cent more likely to consider suicide.”(Yale University) “Over 30,000 children stay home every day due to fear of being bullied.” (ABC News) Bullying is the cause of about 6,078 deaths in a year in the fifteen to twenty-four age range. A young man from Ireland named Joshua Unsworth hanged himself after frequent cyber bullying on a social network that he belong to. He was teased about his father being a farmer and peers made fun of his dating habits. Cynthie Sanchez killed herself after years of peer bullying and cyber bullying.
