Milestones for The Rest of the Semester
My end goal of this semester is to finish a draft including a clear structure and general statements and analysis of the most key contents. I will hand it to my advisors for his initial review. Therefore, my milestones can be emerged as following:
Stage one: I need to create my initial outline and discuss with my advisor, in terms of the general topic and specific contents of each chapter. To be able to achieve this part, I will do a week long literature research and create a basic bibliography.
Stage two: I need to revise my outline after I integrate my advisor’s suggestions. I also need to confirm my paradigm by noting down my role of each chapter with detailed strategies. For instance, if my chapter

Expecting Activities
Writing Activity: I would like to have peer-review for group writing. We share our paragraphs with our peers before the class. All of us need to comment on each other’s writing and print out a copy. We will read each other’s feedback and discuss in the group by presenting our own ideas and concerns of our own papers. We can just share a particular part of the writing and switch peers each time, so we can be productive with all the details and gain diverse
Prompt #1: After my receiving feedback on my Ch. 4 analysis, I would agree I need to make my chapter analysis more longer. I know what to change for Ch. 9 analysis. I would give the details that I had in Ch.
I need to assess your writing as individuals and the class as a group so I can make adjustments. Assignment Outline Paragraph 1 is a summary. A summary should identify author, article, purpose, and give me an idea of the main points. One of the most challenging aspects of summary is the length. This summary paragraph should be 5-7 sentences.
The groups are the Guardian, Idealist, Artisan, and Rationals. Reviewing and sharing results within the group will give one another an understanding of others point of view, and create an open, trusting enviorment. It is important to be aware of one’s own personality type
Helping World Majority Students In the article, helping world majority students make sense of university expectations, the author who is Helen Fox tries to prove that even though it is deemed necessary to make changes in the school education system, it is quite hard to make such adjustments, but provides better strategies on the subject. The author argues that it is highly difficult for these institutions to change their standards as well as the entire instruction framework for the purpose of making it easier for the foreign students taking courses in the institution.
It compares some United States liberal arts programs with that of other countries. This article is beneficial to my research because it discusses liberal arts on a global scale and its importance as an idea instead of in specific circumstances. Roche, Mark William. Why Choose the Liberal Arts?
Finally, I began writing about my genre—developmental collaborative writing on a whiteboard—and gave its purpose followed by a few links. These links lead to the descriptions of my genre’s audience, rhetorical factors, structure, and style of writing; with all of the information presented on my website there should be a good enough description of developmental collaborative writing to help my fellow classmates understand what it is. At the beginning of major writing assignment number one I began my thought process by plotting out how
My assignment for the writing 101 group project was to present how to conduct an interview. The information for this presentation came from The Curious Researcher by Bruce Ballinger. My group consisted of five people, we all would present this topic together. Knowing that we had a big group for a relatively small presentation, we had to divide the groups roles up very evenly so everyone could participate. This was the first thing we did as a group.
As with any type of group work, disagreements are likely to surface; but that’s why I have experience managing large groups of people and dealing with problems and complicated ideas. If needed be, I will step up and make myself useful, whether it is in a classroom setting, a lab, or the workplace. I am also determined to work side-by-side with people who have the same fascination with academics and who want to see the same change in the world as I do; but first, I have to start by graduating from
The transition of power in China changed the dynamics of post-World War II relations. For the United States, the so-called “Loss of China” was a a catastrophe, not only because the US supported Chiang Kai-shek in the last few years, but also because it seems to be a victory for the Soviet Union and the global Communism. For China, in 1949 started for the first time in its history the possibility to build foreign relations without being “suppressed by unequal treaties” by western powers. But China‘s relations to other countries remained very complicated and complex.
Many international students select Australia to complete their higher education for a number of reasons, foremost amongst which is the excellent education system established
My interest in intercultural communication and determination of pursuing a career in international education motivated me to apply for the MA ICBP at Warwick University. The decision has been carefully made based on my bachelor degree in International Communications Studies with Spanish, voluntary teaching in primary schools in China and Cameroon. After graduation, I wish to work for as an administrative coordinator in an international education institution or as a program manager of NGO, promoting quality education. With 3-5 year working experience, I will head for a PhD degree to prepare myself for a research-oriented position. Undertaking my bachelor degree in the first Sino foreign university, the University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC), is the first step for me to engage in cross-cultural communication as a learner.
I think that the structure of working in small groups increased my engagement in the whole process. I felt that the structure of the two components was clear and the style of facilitation helped creating a safe space for developing psychologists. When participating in a reflective group that gives feedback to your work as a psychologist you also experience the influence of the advice on you. It is a brief experience on how you can use the feedback you take from colleagues in a way to improve your work as a
Introduction To date I have completed three classes and one group facilitation exam for this semester. The aim of this assignment is to demonstrate my personal and professional learning for the duration of the module. It will discuss the definition of group work; how I planned for my group exercise; it will outline my learning as a facilitator and observer for a thirty minute exercise. I will use Bruce Tuckman 's five stage group development model to outline the stages of the group process.
China, which is nowadays considered a superpower, has experienced two totally different roles when it comes to international relations. On the one hand, while Mao Zedong was in power, China was closed to the exterior. With Deng Xiaoping, China opened its doors to the rest of the world, becoming what it is today: a huge power in terms of GDP, imports and exports among others. The main objective of this paper is to answer the question: to what extend has the leadership of Den Xiaoping changed the role of China in contemporary international relations?
The economic competition forced by the globalization is obviously the main motive for the reshaping the education systems in many countries. Global information and communication technologies, mass media and international NGOs contribute to reforms in education directly or indirectly. International organizations inflict their policy interests, objectives and philosophies to developing countries through conditionality related to lending. The discourses of knowledge economy, life-long learning, international testing and technology are found to be the main concern of education policy in developing nations; these have thus become in effect globalized education policy
