THE IDEA OF MELLENIUM DEVELOPMENT GOALS
The idea of millennium development goals (mdgs) public was to restore human dignity among poorest countries and Make it affordable to compete globally. Mdgs were presented to poor countries as progressive rather than preserving the imperialist. The idea of mdgs followed the decline of profits from imperialist countries; these ideas were politically motive to protect imperialist country on their guilty conscience on exploiting poor countries and continue generating profit. The millennium goals are financed by global financial institution such as World Bank and world trade organisation are designated to fight poverty and offer financial assistance when a country faces crisis. These two big institutions control the global economy. For example Ireland called for financial assistance on IMF and now will be paying back at an interest rate 6.7 percent. In 2011 73% of disabled learners completed their primary education. About 99.0% of children attended primary education. Despite these achievements the are still problems such as poor performance of learners and decrease of learners doing mathematics and sciences in grade 12. Such problems are composed of long travelled distance by children, utilization of teacher policy in addition poor infrastructure in in school especially rural areas. South African policy based on skill development promises to deliver education to all citizens. In the past black Africans did not afford to pay fees to study further, in conjunction with this problem South African government provided free education this is line with the freedom charter of 1955. About 7.2 million learners are in no fee school and 15 389 school offer no fee school. Between the year 2009 to year 2011 the is a bit overall improvement of performance of learners in education from 60.0% to 73.9% passing
Nelson Mandela once said, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world” (Education). Education is a crucial making an intelligent and prosperous world. Every person is entitled to an equal education, deserving to be taught and have the ability to learn at the same beneficial level as any other person. However, the disparity between what some have for a school and what others have for schools that far surpass the others is unacceptable. Children in the United States are not getting the education they deserve to receive.

The American Dream has the nationality ethos of the United States. It is a collection of goals that everyone born in America has freedom, equal opportunity for prosperity and upward social mobility. They can achieve through hard work in a society with few obstacles. However, the fact is cruel. Nowadays, America’s economic inequality is growing.
In the end, free education is never free as the youths will have to pay back for the tuition with excessive taxes. Also, offering free tuition will lower the value of education, and this will translate to lower productivity in the job market. Human beings tend to value the things that they have worked for and therefore offering the education at zero costs means that the students may never take their studies seriously. The government can also adopt different alternatives to the free education without necessarily hurting the economy. Having so many graduates will impact negatively on the job sector.
Despite the great wealth the United States possesses, it has for long struggled with poverty which is said to be inherited from one generation to another. The culture of poverty hinders those affected from economic betterment however much assistance they obtain from social programs put in place. The term Culture of poverty is believed to have been coined by Oscar Lewis, who suggested that children who grow up in poverty-stricken families are highly likely to adopt the norms and practices that encourage poverty. Thus, these children, he believed, would replicate the adapted values in their lives which would in turn generate a cycle of intergenerational poverty in the long run (Bell et al, 2013). Thus the culture of poverty is a topic which creates heated debates in both the public and political arenas.
World Hunger affects a significant amount of people all around the world. It is an issue that everyone should be aware of. The future is bright but there are lots of steps left to figuring out a way to end world hunger. From my research, my intention is to inform the reader about what is hunger, what are the causes, what are the effects of it, where does it mostly occur, and how can we end it. Someone who is severely hungry is someone who is incapable of accessing food on a consistent basis.
The transition from primary to post-primary education is one of the most drastic of those changes, and schools need to be equipped to accommodate that transition. For special educational needs, many steps need to be taken in order to familiarize both parties with the conditions they live with and how success can be met. In order for students to feel comfortable and make the transition as smooth as possible, there are many things that schools can do to ensure this success. In order for special education pupils to succeed, schools need to create inclusion in the classrooms and with peers, so that SEN pupils can interact with other students and experience real world classroom time. For students with disabilities, schools need to take some necessary steps in order for a beneficial transition to take place.
Poverty can adversely affect the population in so many ways. Families living in poverty can face emotional and social challenges, cognitive lacks and health and safety issues and acute and chronic stresses. Levels of stress increase with the economic circumstances. Subsequent poverty and job loss are associated with violence in families, including child and elder abuse. These families are also more likely to be exposed to illnesses, job loss, eviction, criminal victimization and family death.
The guiding principle in inclusive education is that all learners have a right to learn in mainstream schools. Zimbabwe is a signatory to the Salamanca statement and framework for action on special needs education and other inclusive education related international charters and conversions (Mpofu 2007; Musengi 2010; Chireshe 2011). Although Zimbabwe does not have an inclusive education specific policy, it has inclusive education related policies like the Education Act of 1996 and the Zimbabwe Disabled Persons Act of 1996 which advocates for non-discrimination of people with disabilities in Zimbabwe
How do you define the harshness of society? Social Justice and Poverty is a hard concept to analyze when one does not have a clear understanding of the social justice structure and why most people living in poverty remain poor. Looking beyond the aspects of what causes everyday circumstances and situations, society must become more well-rounded to people living in poverty are lacking their everyday hierarchical needs. In a world with people who are very rich and people who are very poor, society tends to put their focus on making the rich richer. Poverty has swept over many cities, states and countries with low unemployment rates, child hunger, economic violence, homelessness, and major social class issues.
Inefficient policies all around the world and especially in our country are contributing to problems in the society. And the biggest problem which the world faces today is the problem of “Poverty” and “Inequality”. It is hard for one to determine whether poverty causes inequality or is it the other way around because both these problems are interrelated. Poverty is something which is caused due to transferring wealth in to the hands of a specific group and the unjust policies of the government. And inequality is discriminating a person in all spheres of life which gives a rise to sense of deprivation.
The reason I think this way is that in this case everyone gets a chance to go to the university and that free education can interest more students in the long run and finally lead to more people getting a higher education. Universities in a number of developing countries are very expensive and this scares a lot of potential students since for most of them, getting university education means that they will have to get student loans and be in debt for a long period of time. If universities would provide free education, then, not only those young people who come from rich families but everyone who wants to study in the university will have an equal opportunity to receive a graduate
Declared in The Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UN, 1948), education is recognized as a fundamental human right and a key component contributing to the development of societies. Yet there are many people on earth have not been able to get educated. In order to solve the problem, it is proposed that all education (including primary, secondary and higher education) should be free all over world and governments should be those funding the tuition fees. This paper critically hightlights the significances and also rebut the objection of free education. Before further analysis, the writer is going to point out some definitions and add facts and figures.
Reda (2015) states “If we want to see the world as a just and fair place where everyone is given equal opportunities, education is what we require. Education is a must if we want to do away with the existing differences between different social classes and genders. It opens a whole world of opportunities for the poor so that they may have an equal shot at well-paying jobs.” Creating education in a democratic state has been aimed by many states, theorists, philosophers and so on. Countries in this era have succeeded is aiming for a democratic education, some are getting there and other countries fail in creating a democratic education.
