INTRODUCTION Brief History Subway is the largest fast food franchise in USA. It specializes in making quality sandwiches and salads. Subway restaurants have been rated the #1 franchise opportunity for 12 of the past 17 years by Entrepreneur Magazine. It is the fastest growing Franchise in the world. It opens a new outlet somewhere in the world every day and has over 28,000 outlets in over 80 countries. Subway was establishes in 1964 in New York by a seventeen year old kid. The main aim was to make sandwiches in the shape of submarine and that is how the name “SUBWAY” came into being. Subway Zamzama Subway Zamzama is the flag outlet of subway in Pakistan. It was the first subway outlet in Pakistan and its opening was on 14th August 1998 just to signify the independence day of Pakistan. It is located at Zamzama which is one of the busiest areas of Karachi. Objective Subway’s objective is to provide healthy and oil-free food for weight conscious people. They prepare the sandwiches and salads wit fresh ingredients in front of their customers. Their sandwiches have the least fat and oil compared to the other major franchise fast foods which offers healthy alternative to fast food. Mission Statement “Eat Fresh and Live Healthy”.
