This bowl, which will be called Avanyu Bowl for the purposes of this paper, comes from the Santa Clara Pueblo community in present day New Mexico. This Pueblo Avanyu Bowl was created by Crescenia Tafoya, who is from a lineage of skilled pottery makers. The Avanyu Bowl is completely black, but the alterations between polished and matte black parts allowed the artist to create the images she decorated the bowl with. The inside of the Avanyu Bowl appears to be completely matte black. The decoration of the bowl is a combination of linear patterns as well as a serpent figure.
In the forty years that he has been in possession of the Thunder Pipe bundle, he has become a highly respected heavy-singer-for-the-sick, credited with having the power to heal ‘anything from a broken leg to a broken Spirit’ (p387). Now, though, having been without her for forty years, he dreams only of a reunion with his wife. In the Thunder Moon ceremony, the people form a procession through the camp, dancing and praying for ‘long summer grass, bushes thick with berries and all of the things that grow in the ground-of-many-gifts’ (p388). Dale piece the Persian ceiling is a beautiful piece the bright colors and the unusually shaped objects are just breath taking some pieces where flattened out and many of the shapes resemble jellyfish and other sea animals and it’s so amazing because it’s all glass nothing else. The glass used in the Persian are small, dense, and rare core-formed vessels that appeared during 1500B.C. in Egypt and again in 1300B.C. in Mesopotamia. Another pieces that I admire is the sculpture honoring Harriet Wyche. The sculpture is made of rose-colored Polyvitro, a material that Chihuly Studio creates by casting a special formula of polymer resins and dyes using molds formed from large “chunks” of glass. The Polyvitro elements are crystal-like in shape, and individual masses are attached to a central armature of powerful-coated, exterior-grade stainless steel to create a tower that is over eight feet tall.
Fiction vs Reality Dreams are what the world would like, but most often it is not the world we live in which is shown repeatedly in the short story “The lamp at noon” by Sinclair Rose and the poem “Up” by Margaret Atwood. The three main ideas that will be expressed will be about irony, metaphors, and personification. Personification by definition is giving human attributes to inanimate objects, personification is also a way to give life to objects which so the readers can get a proper understanding of the objects value in the story, in the short story “The lamp at noon” the readers learn that Ross was trying to give everything around the two main protagonists life so the story would have all the more meaning and emotion, “there was a wind whining high” (Ross 68) the literary device was used to give more emotion to the argument that Ross and Ellen were having, similarly in the poem “Up” there

Walking through the museum I’ve seen many collections of potteries, clothes, jewelries, weapons, masks, bowls, fabrics were dyed in different colors. By looking through each showcase I could tell everything they made was by hands and all of the potteries were in different shape and size, but not perfectly shaped. I think these potteries were use to store water, food or decoration in their house or they could sell it to other tribes. One of my favorite things is the jewelry; there were a lot of jewelries from earnings, necklaces, bracelets, and rings. Everything was hand made for different styles from children to young girls and even for man and women.
