Monologue Of Jorge

Jorge has never been so embarrassed and angry at himself in his lifetime. For the first time in his life he got a wonderful opportunity and he is already putting his family and farm in jeopardy.
“Why did I have to leave this stupid gate open and let all of you get out?” He said, with a disappointing tone, aimed towards the last few pigs running into the gate after a long night of chasing hog after hog.
“Two hundred and forty. You’re all back.”
The pigs looked at him blankly. He kicked an empty pail over and sat on it with his hands covering his face as if to hide from what just happened. All of the sudden from the corner of his eye, you saw someone moving towards his barn and his heart dropped, afraid it was the wrath of his neighbor again.

Jorge loved spending time Rosalie, but he was so tired of worrying about her father keeping them apart. His forehead was starting to develop wrinkles from all of the thinking and stress that has developed from wracking his brain about how to approach Henry about the love he has for his daughter. I’m just going to go do it, he thought to himself. The next day, Jorge opened up the doors of his barn and started to walk towards the house of which belonged to his neighbor, Henry. The one man who scared him to death months back, the man who said racist things to him, and the one man who he has went behind his back and doing the exact thing he warned Jorge not to do; stay away from his family. His palms started to sweat heavily and throat seemed to tighten as he got closer and closer to the house. All of a sudden he heard something odd, odder than the ringing sound that filled his eardrum. Shrieking? Screaming? What was this odd sound! Now sprinting, Jorge flung open the kitchen door to see Henry on the ground, face purple, and wailing, for something was stuck in his throat causing him to choke.
