I expect to graduate from Northeastern Illinois University with High Honors, in May 2018 and I will be the first in my immediate family to obtain any college degree. An education at the University at Buffalo would be a major factor in reaching my goals on multiple levels. Being able to learn practical techniques from some of the best faculty in the field, at an internationally renowned institution, will make my knowledge base infinitely larger provide me with the skills to conduct credible research. Studying at a university that expects the most from its students is one of the challenges I will embrace and one that will prepare me for an accomplished future. Additionally, the MSW/Ph.D. Advanced Standing option will allow me to build on my existing BSW knowledge and earn my degree more quickly. As a future independent scientific researcher and organizational leader, the university at Buffalo will give me the supervisory, managerial and administrative skills I will need to run an organization. It will also provide a gateway to my future Ph.D. in social work, which I intend to pursue due to my passion for community-based research. …show more content…
I am ready to move directly into MSW/Ph.D. study following my BSW. After completing my doctorate, I shall start my own organization and conduct independent research that will bring about positive change in the Personally, I have now been in Chicago for four years, and I established a strong community that supports me in continuing my education. I am fortunate to have family members and friends who can continue to support me emotionally and psychologically while in school. I am fully committed to focusing on my MSW/Ph.D. coursework and field
I chose Prairie View A&M University not only because of how historical the university is but, because of the outstanding number of students that have graduated from the college of nursing. Also, because I was chosen to be a part of the phenomenal dance team known as the Black foxes, then I decided that prairie view was the perfect school for me. After making this decision, things just started falling into place more and more each day. Prairie View has given me numerous opportunities as well as being offered the Target academic scholarship. As generous as the scholarship is it’s still not enough to cover the cost of attendance at Prairie view.
I want to be admitted into UW Oshkosh to help me have a better education and brighter future. My high school diploma is the foundation of my education but my college education will be the main structure for my future. UW Oshkosh will provide me with more than just a degree, it will provide me with an experience that I don’t think I can find in any other college. I know UW Oshkosh is the right college for me. I am a good student for UW Oshkosh because I plan to be an involved member of the Oshkosh campus community, I am a hard worker, and I know getting a degree is how I will obtain a career I want.
Moreover, I hope to find other organizations and opportunities to serve others, either on or off campus, that will make others' lives better, possibly even becoming involved in initiatives run by the local school system, since I hope to be heavily involved in at least one of the local schools as I
I have worked so hard in school waiting for a moment like this. UNCW would be a great challenge for me, but it would also help me out immensely. UNCW has a excellent education program and that is exactly the field of study I aim to go into. I spent approximately half of my sophomore year at the early college tutoring at Dobson Elementary. I cherished every second helping my fifth grade class.
It has good programs that I am interested in, even though some of them are selective, it will just give me more of a reason to work harder during my first year or so of college. The good thing about going to BG is that I have already been accepted, so I know for sure that I am in. Since I have not yet applied to Tiffin, I don’t want to have to worry about whether or not I’m actually going to get in. Many of the students that I know that have went to BGSU have came out successful, and I hope to see myself in that position someday. I only know a few people who went to BG to get a degree in Business Management, but the one that I know have been very successful, which gives me confidence that I can do the same thing.
Both Universities are perfect choices for a college career because of their rigorous standards, affordable education, outstanding
Essay #1: Describe why you wish to enroll at WMed. You should describe any connection you have to southwest Michigan. I would love to stay in Michigan and I appreciate that Kalamazoo is a large city with only a forty-minute drive to Lake Michigan beaches. Not to mention that WMed is the only Michigan-based medical school to be voted one of the 50 Most Beautiful Medical Schools. It is also a new institution which allows for innovation by its students.
I developed interest in studying at the University of Detroit Mercy from personal research and conversation I have had with my lecturers. One lecturer specifically recommended the institution after he heard me talk about my passion of pursuing a management major at an institution that will offer me an opportunity to participate in outreach programs, and in the process transforming the community. I have also had enlightening conversation with a colleague who has been at the institution and is impressed by its focus on education. It was interesting to learn that the institution has a high professor to student ratio and most classes have less than 30 students. I am also particularly excited about the university’s Leadership Development Institute
The scope and responsibilities of teaching, advising, and mentoring "undergraduate" majors involving undergraduate research will allow me to teach students research methodology and prepare them for a bigger research platform. I strongly endorse the religious aspect of the IWU and how it emphasizes on the personal faith in Jesus Christ. Moreover, the IWU gives full attention to applicants from diverse ethnic and race. My interests perfectly aligned with the major job responsibilities for this position including teaching Computer Science and Information Systems courses at all levels as well as advising and mentoring students and serving on various academic committees.
After many days of endlessly searching, a friend of mine, who was a student at Cornell University, suggested looking into this distinguished establishment. After researching everything there is to know about Cornell and talking about it to my parents, they agreed that this quintessential university will undoubtedly contribute to my future success. Not only does Cornell appeal to me due to the fact that this university is one of eight (but undoubtedly the most supreme) Ivy League schools, but Cornell also stands out to me because of its appreciation of community, location, and golden educational programs- more specifically, the fact that Cornell has consistently been ranked in the top tier of veterinary
I realized that I belong at George Washington University once I discovered the astonishing opportunities lying within and around the campus. When I learned that this university could fulfill my dream of studying World Health and was located blocks away from the institutions I always envisioned myself working for, I was instantly captivated. By excelling at GWU, I will have the opportunity to work hand in hand with organizations like the World Bank and the United States Agency for International Development through internship, research fellowship, and most importantly through daily interaction that only GWU can facilitate for its students. By being a member of a community where national leaders and global guests convene to share personal experiences, I will be inspired to follow in their footsteps.
The underlying reason that captivated me to apply to New York University was its mission statement to being a school that lives in the heart of “one of the busiest, most diverse and dynamic cities of all.” To start with, I was interested in applying to New York University, because it’s one of the top colleges to study International Business at. Business has been my passion of study since entering into High School, when I first was introduction to Career, Technology and Agricultural Education (CTAE) pathway. Completing the Entrepreneurship and Web Design Pathway, allowed me to experience what I hopefully wanted to do as my career in the future. In those classes I found my love for business especially in the international aspect of business,
Traveling to the west coast has been such an amazing and humbling experience, which all started with an email about a QU in LA seminar taking place during a semester during my freshman year. I would have never expected that one email would send me on a three yearlong journey that would change everything. Since freshman year on I had been trying to get into the QU in LA program. I was able to get into the QU in LA program and with the help of the programs director during my sophomore year; I was able to land an internship with Chris Kito at Coldwell banker. Coldwell Banker is an American real estate franchise under the ownership of Realogy, a publicly owned Real estate company providing relocation services and real estate to families all over
I am deeply interested in how to manage sustainable energy and technology to better use our current resources for making the world more sustainable. Energy has been one of the biggest issues for a long time. Energy sources such as fossil fuels, coal, petroleum, and natural gas play a significant part of modern society because they are cost-effective and easier to produce and use. On the other side, these energy sources are causing damage to environments such as global warming and acid rain. Furthermore, what is going to happen after these energy sources are gone?
Also, the university will encourage me to stay on top of my work, so that I can graduate on time. After seeing my sister attend Boulder for a year, I know that it is a lot of work, but the benefits are very
