Although no injuries have been reported so far, the disaster damaged over 3,500 meters near where it occurred. The incident closed several airports in the area, stranding a ton of people. It troubled Australians and Islamics the most because the Australians were rushing to travel while schools were on break, and the Islamics were celebrating Ramadan.
