They could resent Jimmy for his behaviour and thus lead him to be more isolated and without any friends. Their learning will definitely be affected also because most of the time lessons are stopped to deal with the disruptive behaviour. Administration have the duty to ensure that the school is a safe and healthy environment for teachers and students. The promotion of positive behaviour in the classroom and school is necessary if these outcomes are to be
The article was published on July 10, 2007, on “The Daily Mail website”. A student’s behavior is related to many different aspect, wearing a uniform can disturb a pupil inside and outside school. Uniforms can reduce bullying especially in school. One of the struggles could be kids that criticize each other because they look different or they dress “terrible”. When pupils wear the same clothes, they aren’t picky and they do not stand out of the crowd.
Getting to know all the students has been quite difficult for me because I feel like there isn’t enough time in a day where you can sit down and talk with each student. Sometimes I feel like I’m constantly telling the students to be quiet, or making sure that they are staying on topic with their responses. That is something that has surprised me, because I feel like a lot of my time with them has been focused on the subject at hand. This is excluding time when I am working with students one-on-one. However, I have just started eating lunch with them, because I do want to build relationships with all of them.
Student teaching has fanned the fire of my passion for being a teacher and been a light onto the path of how to become the best I can be. Reflecting on each experience, the successful and the not so successful, has encouraged me to continue to persevere and grow from these challenges. Not only did I discover a great deal about teaching but I also learned a great deal about myself. I was able to surpass all the challenges that I have faced. I touch the lives of my students and to be part of them even in a very little way.
Every time that I would attend my classes during the previous years of my study, I tend to observe my teachers while they were teaching in front as well as the behavior of my classmates. This is when I realized that teachers possess different attributes and made use of various strategies to meet the level of understanding of their students. I have also noticed that my classmates used to behave in a different manner depending on the presence of our teachers. It is during our Field Study that I have experienced to observe the classroom setting while sitting at the back. I usually sit either in front or middle part of the room so; I found my observation from that location as entirely different.
I realized that I should not expect the students to act how I want them to act. I had learn that it will take time to fit into a new location and feeling comfortable with it. Toro Middle School reminded me of my middle school days where students could act childish around one another to show how comfortable they are around one
Abusive and mean, as is shown when May tells him she has to go to summer school, and lets just say, he wasn 't calm about the situation. In this part of the book, May 's dad screams, “‘Summer school?’ I pressed the spatula against the sandwich. ‘Well it was that or i get expelled.’ ‘darn it May! He slammed the jug on the counter. What were you thinking?
These factors play a huge role in how I approach them when teaching and how I deal with conflict they experience within the classroom with other teachers and children. One child needs a lot of one on one and constant reassurance. He has lost both parents and he is not able to deal with his emotions when he becomes frustrated or upset. It presents a challenge when I know he can complete his work, but he chooses not to do it because he wants me to sit with him and focus on him while he works. When I cannot give him the attention he needs/wants he will responsible in a hostile way throwing papers, pencils, or stomping off and crying.
It is usually reported by teachers that these king of misbehaving in class is intolerable and they need to spend more on energy in managing these behaviors in room. To lessen the effect of misbehavior of the students, we must know the factors that exactly affect student’s behavior in class. In the literature, different terms have been used to describe problematic behaviors of students. For instance, Stewart et al. referred student misconduct to disciplinary violations in school, for instance, tardiness, vandalism, fighting, stealing, and drinking on campus.
This way, the educator will surely be comfortable as he works within the school premises on a daily basis. As a future educator, it is important to appreciate the importance of relationships. This way, I am able to deal with relationship frictions and instead of burning bridges, I will be able to build another because relationships are
