Having the same best friend forever can get boring, I guess. It 's not that I wanted another friend. I just really liked her brother. Junior year of high school, not as great as I thought it would be. I had my best friend, Blair. She was great, but she never wanted to do anything fun. She was just obsessed with her grades and her new boyfriend, James. I have to hand it to her, he was pretty cute, but I had my eye on someone else. His name was Liam, and he was new that year. He had a twin sister named Jane who seemed pretty nice, so I made this plan. My plan was to become friends with Jane. That way, I could get closer to Liam, and hopefully, he would fall in love with me. It would all work out perfectly. Jane invited me over that …show more content…
“I am hanging out with this guy. You wouldn 't know him anyways, so it doesn 't matter,” she said very abruptly almost like she knew something. I did not know why she wouldn’t tell me, but I didn’t say anything else about it because I wanted to stay on her good side. “Hey, what do you think of that new girl, Jane?” I asked her. “I don’t know,” she quickly said. “She is good at soccer, I guess.”
Blair was never one to compliment people, and when she got jealous or felt left out, you could tell. Jane was good at soccer, and she was playing in a big game the next day that I decided to watch.
Friday night soccer games were a big deal at my high school. The whole school came to cheer on our team. I really wanted Liam to go to it, so I was very excited when I saw him.
“Hey, Liam,” I said over a couple of people on the stands.
He was with a girl, but I could not tell who it was because she was turned around.
“Hey, Hailey!” he said.
The girl turned around, and I saw that it was Blair. I was crushed. I didn’t know what to say, but I managed to get a couple of words out.
“Oh, hey, Blair, is Liam the guy you were talking about

She asked, “Are you going out with James?”
I said, “Yes.” I started to walk away, but she caught up to me.
She asked, “Why would you do that to me?”
I replied, “Do what? I actually like him!”
She asked, “Is it because I’m going out with Liam? I know you used to be obsessed with him, but I thought you were over it by now.”
I said, “I was never obsessed with him, and you should not have taken him when you knew that I liked him, Blair!”
She replied, “Well, you shouldn’t have taken James!”
I said, “I’m sorry, Blair. I did not know that it would affect you this much.” But I knew it would. I saw James and Liam after school and went up to them to talk. “Hey, Liam, do you actually like Blair?” I asked. “I did but not anymore. She is kind of a brat,” he said. I totally agreed. James chimed in, “Hey, Hailey, are you ready?” I nodded. He took my hand, and we went to the movies. We had a lot of fun, and I forgot about all of the jealousy I had for Blair and all of her boyfriends. The plan didn’t succeed, but in the end, I guess, I got what I wanted all
After having a tense conversation with Zadie, her eyes cutting me like bread, and her hair itself could be a pack of cigarettes from the harsh smell coming from it. Finally Dylan bounded around the corner from the long hallway. I could see the tension in the air, that’s how much there was, and Amelia was showing it too. “My heart skipped, thinking she was talking to me. But she turned to Zadie instead.”
“Your love saved me, Skye.” She sighed. “You know my name is Daisy, right?” she asked calmly.
I nod. Heather waves to a sophomore she knows across the gym. The girl pokes me harder. ‘Aren’t you the one who called the cops at Kyle Rodgers' party at the end of the summer?’ [...] Another girl chimes in.
[Tyrone’s mind] Tyrone: Maybe, Matt's right? .... No nevermind, I think he was just jealous of my coolness.
I was too unpredictable. " Natalie...we want you to come with us." Sadie said,

I don 't know what to say to that. It isn 't every day that you meet someone who came straight from the funny farm. But had he? I look once again at the young man, there is a glint of genuine care in his eyes. "Alright I 'll play along" I say.
I wake up every morning only to see burn holes in my bed. As I slide out of bed, I wobble towards the staircase to make some breakfast. I’ll admit it, I am a waste of my freedom. I have no job, no fun memories, no family, no purpose, and most of all, no friends. Someone needs to come into my life to lift me up from my nicotine-ridden lifestyle.
“Don’t you dare call me that anymore. You Zack, made me miss my last senior concert. You cheated on me. I thought we had plans together? I loved you, and all you give me in return is this?!
A few minutes later the silence was interrupted by the handsome blonde sitting next to Veronica. The young man didn 't want the girl to think about him as of a shirt-chaser, because he was not. Sitting by this unknown girl, he just wanted to be courageous and strong, and flirting only

The little boy had a sparkle in his eye and was full of excitement. As Michael leaves Sam continues to talk to the boy. “Michael Franklin is pretty cool isn’t he,” Sam says. “He is amazing,” the young boy replies. “He has been to the Olympics and done so much.
Those were the worst days, but I made it through and it helped make the time go by. I didn’t really have much time for a girlfriend. I had a girlfriend in the beginning but it didn’t work out due to a lot of reasons.
