I believe in the above quote and started my career with an optimistic approach. It is with fondness that I remember my childhood days when I stood fascinated about playing games in computer, my family being drenched with computer science engineers. I always kept myself involved in the discussions of my family members regarding their experiences at work in their company.
Egged on by my parents and teachers from my childhood and my innate predilection for science and technology, a Computer Science Engineering Degree was the logical career choice. I firmly looked for the greatest stuff which encourages me to lay the foundation during my undergraduate course period. My four years of Undergraduate studies in Information Technology at GITAM University, and my exposure and penchant for research have made the choice of further study for me, an obvious one. My Undergraduate Program had always been a

For the first time, I experienced a sweep in the paradigm in the sophomore year by interacting with people working in Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited. The Information Systems Department was working on the optimization and efficiency by managing and monitoring the overall functioning of HPCL which I found it more interesting. Looking at how the works like procurement, management of the complete network systems, provision of online applications to the employees, maintaining various softwares like Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Document Management System and maintenance of security system sparked my interest in this field. As a result, I noticed that Information Systems was the sole department that linked every other departments. Soon, I found myself pervasively obsessed with the study of Database Management and Computer
If one has a passion for something one will search for opportunities and take chances to follow that passion and dream. Gladwell talks about Bill Gates in his book and he does not focus enough on the passion that Bill Gates has for computers. Whenever a computer lab would close Bill would look for another one or any way he could get around computers. He would sneak out of his house at night to go to a local university and get in the computer lab. He went leaps and bounds to find computer labs and did not give up and stop working with computers.
R. Irizarry Session 1 Journal When I started to pursue my degree some years ago I had no idea what I wanted to do with the degree. Just thought it would be the right thing to do in order to get a better job. I proceeded to start but could never finish. At first it was because I was in the military and I kept transferring from one place to another.
I am dedicated, persistent, trustworthy, blunt, and honest as can be. I not only attend high school, but attend Cowley County Community College (CCCC). I attend Cowley to further my knowledge in automotive so that I can be prepared for a job. Just as with many of my previous academic moments it continued the drive I had already had. While my education continued to teach me valuable lessons and give me hands on experience I began to gain a stronger sense rooted in development and the protection of others by hopefully continuing my education at Loyola University Chicago in the Masters of Social Work/Masters of Arts in Social Justice Program which would give me the opportunity to not only eventually become a social worker with the Department of Social Services (DSS), with a school, or a guardian ad litem but to do that work effectively with the chance that would be afforded to me of an academic background steeped in social work as well as social justice teachings. This program in particular continues the undergraduate work and furthers my education on my path to my
I was also lucky enough to be part of the Undergraduate Research Scholars Program. This opportunity allowed both myself and my other colleagues to participate in the graduate experience at the undergraduate level.
As a dreamer and queer woman of color, pursuing a career in STEM has been quite challenging. But I have never let anything get in the way of reaching my goals and dreams. I have swam against the current in order to be where I am today, where I have dreamt of being. I am currently a second year student at Trinity Washington University majoring in biochemistry and minoring in mathematics. I am a dedicated student and an analytical and skilled critical thinker who is eager to learn.
Choosing a college major is one of the most important decisions in a person’s life. The effect choosing a college major has on one’s life is much like a small ripple in the middle of a vast ocean. In the students senior year it is a simple seemingly inconsequential click of a button on an online application. But by the time this once meek ripple reaches the shore of the students’ life it has already transformed into a great tidal wave that has influenced their life every step of the way.
Cybersecurity has become a growing cause for concern in the United States and indeed countries around the world. On February 9, 2016 President Barack Obama announced his Cybersecurity National Action plan (CNAP) to further the nations efforts to protect government agencies, citizens, and businesses from cyber threats domestic and abroad. However, cybersecurity is not a new issue in fact it is as old as the internet itself. With that said, I keep thinking back to that warm September day stained with the image of an enormous fireball engulfing our small TV set. This horrific day changed the course of history forever along with my future career path.
This condition led me towards problem related with shortage of time at the time of submission of the project. On other hand, I also faced some critical issues related with understanding and interpreting the subject and research context. Prior to the project, I used to possess only elementary knowledge of Management Information System and its implication in real life scenario. In
