I had my very first challenge in life 18 years ago when I needed to swim as a sperm cell into my mother’s egg cell. I was with millions of other sperm cells doing our best to be the first to reach the finish line. I was so blessed to be the winner of that race but it was not the end. As I enter my mother’s egg cell, things began to change. My body started to develop into a healthy baby for nine months. Then comes the second challenge of my life, I needed to get out of my mother’s womb to see the real world. I was so innocent then that I do not know anything about this beautiful world but I was able to surpass the challenge. As time goes by, I grew bigger and bigger. I started to learn how to walk, talk, and eat. All those things were taught …show more content…
I decided to create plans. Making plans would be a great help for an individual to not have any conflicts. These plans should envision the goal you want to achieve in the future. As a human in developing stage, I became more conscious of my body. To have a healthy body is to succeed in life. I practiced proper hygiene and grooming. I also became a picky-eater and I regularly go to gym to maintain the proper condition of my body. To be socially healthy, I practiced communicating with others the right way. Respecting others is the most important thing to established a healthy social life. In terms of decision making, I practiced to consider all the factors and consequences that may arise. It is the best way to decide well without regrets. Also, I learned to control my feelings and emotions. I also try my best to do the right things always. I avoided temptations which would lead me to grave results. We need to learn from our mistakes and be a better person. For some cases, problems will come without any notice so an adolescent should be prepared always of what might happen. These are my own ways to be a responsible adolescent and prepare for adult life. “The difference between who you are and who you want to be is what you do. And what you have to do to get where you want to be may not be pretty or may not come easy.” This famous quotation is very true. Our future life always depends on our
No matter how ordinary a human being could be, no one has lived their entire life in someone’s shoe. Everyone stumbles upon different decisions in life, causing different but unique life experiences. However, one’s life can only be changed with one’s decision. Life is about making decisions, whether it’s right or wrong, it all comes from the decision maker.
Everyone makes decisions in their life; everyone behaves a certain way. Behavior stems from the biology of humans, so how one will act, the decisions one will make, they will all occur, due to one’s brain and
Sometimes the choices we make are very dangerous, but in our mind and heart, we know it is correct. We do not have much time in our life to be sad and regret things we do. Therefore we need to make choices that make us happy and satisfied. People should live their life how they want to because it will make them a happier person. In the books that we have read in class, I have noticed a constant force each character had of having a choice that would make them happier.
The concept of future can be imperceptible. It is forged by our present and untouchable past of our life. Relationships can be maintained if built on the foundation of strong undisputed past. Yet, if built upon the uncertainty of past they come crumbling down. Ignorance and selfishness starts to blossom in our veins.
The decision you make affects the next decision that comes towards you, and what you decide there can change the small things in life that in return will change the big moments in
Checking into the hospital at 3:08 AM, only to wait another 12 hours on the nose to have this long awaited baby. The family started showing up, the nurses started preparing me, and at 2:40 PM, it was time. Finally, here I was, at 3:08PM on the dot, Alyssa Stongle was the newest mommy at the hospital. Right then and there, I knew why my body was going through changes.
I learned to smile more. Doing the Markham Service Learning project, I learned that it is okay to be loud. I learned to have more patience when helping others up off the ground. I learned to be a better

So with that being said, my mother and father of my children held my legs and I started to push. Feeling every single thing! Her coming down my birth now, feeling her shoulders and head it was very intense. My blood pressure and CO2 levels were dropping very low so I had to have an oxygen mask on.
Sasse begins to argue that teens sometimes become quite lethargic when it comes to advancing into adulthood. He states that teens are "not obligated to immediately become emotionally, morally, and financially adult" (Sasse par. 8). This explains the issues many teens face today. This is an issue that will affect them and the nation.
Failures and successes in life have led many people to believe that destiny plays a role in one's future life outcome. Some say destiny, the “hidden power believed to control what will happen in the future”, is unchangeable; fate has already decided how one will live their life. Although in some cases this may be true, one is able to change their destiny by the deeds and actions they commit during their lifetime. Many people disregard the idea that actions play a large role in forming one's future.
Teenagers are often very reluctant to listen to the advice and teachings of their parents. Although most young people know nothing about the world, many feel the need to seek a sense of independence sooner than they should. In some cases when this happens, events occur that allow us to look back and reconsider our circumstances and choices.
It is important to live in the present and not in the future. For today is a sure thing, but tomorrow might never
In the short statement by the poet Horace, he states that adversity, or struggle, can build character. “Adversity has the effect of eliciting talents which in prosperous circumstances would have lain dormant.” Horace claims that in the face of hardship, one can learn, adapt and act accordingly thus awakening skills that would not be present if not faced with the tasks. This claim I believe to not only be true but to also be the reason as to why we have been able to make it so far as a species.
In order to be physically, mentally/intellectual and socially/intrapersonal well and healthy, we must processed some of these traits: First is physically healthy. How can someone be physically fit?
