George Bemard Shaw once said, “We are all dependent on one another, every soul of on on Earth.” This incredibly true for the character Sal. She dependent on many people to know how to feel and do. This also relates on how she always depends on people she knows very well. In the book Walk Two Moons, by Sharon Creech, the external forces change Sal’s life dramatically.
The Little Mermaid is all about coming of age. In other words Ariel the main character of the story believes that she is old enough to do as she pleases. Ariel loves going to the surface. On the other hand her dad didn’t want any humans to lay eyes on her, as a result of him thinking that they are barbarians. All Ariel wants is to do what she wants when she wants. “I'm sixteen years old. I'm not a child anymore”, said Ariel. Clearly Ariel believes that she is now old enough to do whatever she wants. Her dad thinks otherwise. Ariel doesn’t acknowledge what could happen to her if humans see her. While her dad thinks too much and is to overprotective. This may be the reason why she wants to do what she wants. Her dad has been protective her whole

My grandfather asked me “Which one?” I respond “Let’s get this one”. Little did I know that guinea pig was my dinner. Guinea pigs or cuy are not pets but food in Ecuador. When I arrived at the airport it looked like any typical airport, but it felt as if I was in a different world. I remember seeing a whole bunch of random people at the airport. And then this whole group of people is crowding around me and it took me a while to put all the pieces together and I see my brother saying hi to everyone and then I realized holy cow this is my family. On the way to the car I was counting how many people were actually here and I had 6 uncle 's, 6 aunt 's, more than 15 cousins and 4 grandparents. I could not believe my eyes for the first time in eleven years I was with family. The first two weeks living in Ecuador was a challenge.
She’s got high goals that people can only dream of accomplishing. She’s not as outspoken as others, yet her dreams and goals speak louder than words. Her education is highly average and has a surprising interest for math. She’s always ahead of the game making every point towards her education count. Many people whom don’t know her as well think of her as an average student attending Sylmar High School. Aura Martinez is more than average. Her actions for a good education speak for themselves.
“Do what you feel in your heart to be right, or you’ll be criticized anyway.” - Eleanor Roosevelt. This quote means to me that you should always do the right thing even though you think you’ll be criticized for doing the right thing because the truth is, people will judge you either way. The story of hanging fire is right at the point that where the girl can make a decision to either change her life for the better, or for the worse. So the quote is talking about her having to make that right or wrong decision. I relate to this story the most because I have depression, feel like my parents don't love me, and complain about the things I don't have.
I will be more confident in myself. I will work hard in everything that I do. I will expose myself to new things and will be open to new experiences. I will appreciate all my opportunities in life.
The way my mom raised me has made me the person I am today, so if I were to say she didn't impact my life I would be lying. The work values she instilled in me made me the hard worker I am, from my first job ever to all the hard work I am putting into my education now. I thank her so much for this because if I didn't have that in me I don't know where I would be today. She also raised me with a strong faith in
Nurture is the entirety of environment influenced aspects which impact the growth and actions of an individual. Socrates believed that nurture plays a large role in the development of the individual because it can help gain self understanding, decide the way people view the world, and affect people’s nature.
From my point of view , Leadership has more to it than I can possibly imagine. I define leadership as the art of enabling a group of people get to a specific destination. As a leader your main focus was to enable your followers lead theselves. As i think deeper i realise a person cannot choose to be a leader. I think a lot of the time people take on leadership positions without knowing. For example The role of leading your siblings because you are the first child is not by choice you just become a leader in that situation by birth.Although someone might argue that for some leadership positions a person has to choose to run for that position. I think this perception only applies to big leadership positions which constitute a minimal number of leadership positions.
I was finally stepping outside my comfort zone learning to ride a bike. The most memorable time in my life was the time my dad taught me how to ride my first bike. At the age of six he taught me the basics of riding a bike. Along with rules that were set in order to help me be responsible with my bike. I learned to ride a bike without training wheels. He also taught me to stay motivated no matter how many times I wanted to give up because of my mistakes. I remember the day like it was yesterday even though it was eighteen years ago. This is one of the proudest moments in my life. It’s a lesson that I’ll never forget. Being taught how to ride a bike for the first time was exciting.
The Important people in your life can have a massive effect on your life and how you will live it. When I think of an important person in my life, my mind always wanders to my grandmother. She helps me and my family members whenever we need her. It could be a small favor like an extra couple dollars for lunch to a larger favor as in living with her for a couple years. My grandmother would also be my hero. She always does anything she can to ensure that I and everyone else in my family and her own friends are a safe and comfortable. She has also effected the way I have changed from the time I was a child to now. If she was not the person I know her to be then I guarentee that I would not be the same person I am today. When I was a child I did not care about the consistencies of things and now I understand that everything I do and change will end as something different. These are just a few reasons how my grandmother is not only the most important person in my life but also my hero and changed me to who I am today.
Going through the passing of her father at such a young age, has build up strength in my mom. She had to grow up quickly and learn to have strength and take care of others. Her strength has helped me as I grow up and become an adult. My mom's generosity, cooking for those who have had someone close to them pass away and giving up an hour of her day to spend time with God have shown me alot. Her generosity has shown me how great of a person she is and has made me strive to become a better person. Lastly, my mom’s confidence has definitely played a role in who I am today. Due to the confidence my mom has in herself, and the ability to love herself for who she is, has taught me to do the same and even love others more. My mom is my hero and forever will
