Introduction My childhood dream has always been to become a teacher, someone who imparts knowledge, shape minds, and one who leads by example. On entering the Teaching service in 2011, quite impervious to leave my print, there were some mental setbacks when observing the ostentatious attitudes and unrelenting salary-seekers purporting themselves to be teachers within this noble profession. Disappointed but not discouraged, instead determined, as one should be, to make a significant difference, by seeking further qualifications and maintaining a positive stance. The six week period of teaching practice saw me showing off my now erudite mind from studying at The University of Trinidad and Tobago. The ultimate plan was to impress the cooperating teacher, Mrs. Francis.

The Case In 2010 the Trinidad and Tobago government purchased and distributed individual laptops to form one secondary school students, according to the People 's Partnership manifesto (page 11-12). Armed with this information and observing the global technological trend, my lesson plans were ready, the resources were selected and the lesson for that fateful Wednesday morning was entitled The Sewing Machine and would be conducted in the Clothing and Textile laboratory. Altogether, my experiences on that day were not as perfect and blissful as it was envisioned in my mind.
