Books have always been part of my life. I remember myself as an avid reader, until Netflix and the I Pad arrived to my life few years ago. I use to boast that I am a totally free person because I am not tied to any device, as other people are. I can spend the whole day or even weeks without my smart phone. I do not care about social media, You Tube, wellness tracking, music, Siri, Alexa, and all the APPs available in our hands to keep us busy and distracted all the time. But this experiment have demonstrated that I am not as free and untied as I thought I was. But when this better moment were going to arrive?. During last years, my family and friends have continuing buying books for me knowing that it was my passion. When they ask me about the book I always excuse myself in the lack of time. But I am just lying, lying them and lying myself. Yes I have time, not to much, but enough to open a book and read for at least thirty minutes. It is not too much. This is what I really want in my life, but I thing is going to be hard. It will require a lot of willpower and good intentions every day until the situation get normal. In any case, I am very happy that this experiment has given me the opportunity to realize something that I did not knew, or maybe I knew it, but I dd not have strength enough to face it.
