Every one has that one passion that they either didn’t care for at first or clung right to and either way didn’t let go. Mine is football. The Experience I want to share is my football experience. Now I have much love for football but in both playing and watching. I began playing football when I was 8 years old on the Iberia Youth football league. My first football team name was the browns. I started out as an offensive line backer because of my size at that age. I played that position until I entered middle school. When I entered middle school I began playing for Iberia middle school as a outside linebacker. Playing football wasn’t always what I wanted to do. I really didn’t like all the work that came with it but Watching my brother play football is why I started. I wanted to be apart of the game. That one decision to play changed my whole life. I realized after I continued to play after middle school it would mostly likely keep spiraling out in to my future. In high school I played for New Iberia Senior …show more content…
Watching football on Sunday nights has become the highlight of some households . Sitting on the sofa or in the bleachers while someone in your family is cooking or is going to the concession stand to buy food. While your uncles are screaming at the television or screaming you on and you aunts are saying they cant hear you or rooting for you too. Is all football night lights. That is why I love football because it has multiple things that pulls you in. It can be a life changer because you have to stay on top of your game to play and it keeps family’s close. Movies and bored games don’t pull you in as much as football. People always take rain checks on bored games and movie nights. When football comes around they are ready to either support or watch and scream with you. On football nights even the people who don’t like the sport it self enjoys the the time with their
“Hike,” the ball moves and two lines crumple into each other, both trying to obtain the upper hand as they churn their feet and push with final reserves of strength. In 1920, the American National Football League began, and injuries have been a part of the game since the start. However, significant, life-altering harm from the repetitive crashes into others with massive amounts of both size and speed, has become an epidemic in recent years. What used to be considered just a good knock on the head that “rang his bell,” is today of serious concern and will quickly be followed by extensive concussion tests. Physical injuries affecting players during professional football should not keep adults from watching since fans experience communal feelings,

Although I have never played the game of football, watching it and many other sports, live and on television, is one of
Football, an American pastime. It has become a tradition for families to gather in local stadiums on Fridays, or around the television on Sundays to watch athletes compete against each other in a game of athleticism and brute strength. People cheer as athletes give their all, even their lives, for a sport that has no benefits for them. Football is a disease. It started out small and insignificant and the people or players barely noticed the impacts it had on their lives.
Football is a great sport to teach young boys to work for what they want which is winning the game and eventually taking the championship. When my child plays football, he will gain character and that he can use that to benefit him on life skills. Although some would argue that their child cannot play football because it's too dangerous and is a great cause of concussions or any type of injuries, parents also need to understand the viewpoint of their children. Understanding they want to do and extracurricular activities they want to be a part of.
The game of football is very intriguing. Many people only see this sport as violent hard hitting athletes, but little do they no there is a lot more to the sport of football. Hard work, long days and fatigue is just a small part of what preparation is like for a football athlete. The biggest benefit of any football player is not only being dedicated but being able to have a so called second family. The sport of football comes with many learning stretches such as discipline, dedication, and teamwork no matter the level the athlete which goes way beyond the field.
Football is one of the most popular team sports in this country. Football has been my favorite sport since I could run. Running free in the grass with friends and family made me appreciate the the quality of life I was blessed to have. Senior year of high school I went from league champions to below .500 records. Lake Winaukee was where the team would prep and practice for the upcoming season. As a senior, I felt I was obliged to help my team win football games and the place we could create chemistry was Lake Winaukee.
Once I was of the appropriate age to start playing, my family had put me in Pop Warner Football and I had instantly fallen in love with the sport. At the time, I had dreamed of becoming an NFL football player. That had all changed, when my brother came home from high school one day with a stick in his and a new sport called lacrosse. He told me it was basically football with a stick. The moment I heard that
The sport of football is apart of my life and I have been playing it with my school friends forever. The sport is also a tremendous part of my family, because we watch games together all the time and it brings us together. It is also something I talk about with my friends, and it brings us together and makes us feel as one. The game also keeps me in shape and makes me stronger for the other things I enjoy in life. As I said before, the sport means a lot to me, and helps me out with other
Baseball seemed to be my life when I was a little kid. Playing catch, hitting balls, pitching, the whole nine yards. It has always a life long dream of mine to play Major League Baseball. I was a little kid with big dreams, nothing seemed to be impossible. I got older though,
Soccer had become my go to when I wasn’t feeling good. That’s when my passion for soccer had gotten way stronger. It was all I wanted to do, all I wanted to watch, all I thought about. School had gotten easier, as well as my social life. I found my best friends due to soccer.
I said, “ I know that, and I want to be on the field”. So I finally moved to wide receiver,WR, and could finally play safety. Coach Minnich would come to me in practice and just say,” Couldn’t do this playing quarterback”.
Every since the age of five, sports has been my passion. My most passionate sport is soccer. Soccer always came naturally to me . I always understood the drills, techniques, and desire to play soccer. Plus I fell in love with the game the moment I started playing.
Ever since I was a toddler, I loved sports. Baseball, basketball, it did not matter; I just liked to run. When I was around 4 or 5, I was in the living room watching the Steelers play the Cardinals and saw Santonio Holmes grab a game winning touchdown to win the Superbowl. I was so excited that I jumped up in the air and I told my dad, “Daddy when I grow up I want to play football and I want to score a lot of touchdowns just like 10 does.”
