My favorite holiday would have to be Christmas because on Christmas my family and I typically spend time together as much as possible and if we are not together, we are with close friends. On this holiday, my family has many different memories with a variety of people. Also, we have traditions that may be unusual compared to what other families usual traditions are. On Christmas, we enjoy staying at home with each other. My parents and I make a delicious meal that is similar to a Thanksgiving meal. Depending on whether or not we are busy, we decide to set up the tree, while listening to music. We do not set up extremely early like most people do because our cat will chew on the lights or mess with the presents and garland. One year, we drove to Great Falls to visit our grandma. She would have our favorite cookies sitting in a cookie jar that she always loved to give us. They were chocolate striped cookies that tasted delicious. Usually, we find a plethora of different things to do. A tradition that my brother and I do is take snow and turn it into ice cream. We take the snow, add milk and vanilla until it tastes like real ice cream. How I plan to celebrate in the future is a little different than we do it now. I would love to go and visit other parts of my family, so we can all have a big celebration together. Another thing I am hoping for is to make the family more connected than it already is. If we were able to visit family in another state, that would be fantastic - unless someone changed plans. Also, I would like to visit is my family in Alabama or Louisiana. When we went to Alabama the last time, it was for upsetting reasons. Ever since then we have talked more to that part of our family. They have always tried to visit us when they had the chance but it is hard for them to
