First Extended Stay Away From Home
Going out of town and extending stay could get so stressful but I could always turn the situation into one memorable and awesome experience.
Last spring on the month of March, as my boyfriend is on his last 2 weeks vacation before his deployment he invited me to go home to Pennsylvania for me to meet his family. When he popped up the question I got really excited, to the point when we were already planning on what will the activities we would do while we are in his hometown. I totally forgot on how my parents are conservative and strict. So when I thought of how do I ask my parents permission since it will be my first out of town ever, that is when I lost all the words I could tell dad to open the topic. I knew he would not let me go. Having strict parents was not easy because I had to go by their rules.
However,

It was very fun for the previous days, we went to this amazing “Water fall” house where it was family owned by an Architect and Engineers. The family designed the house that we got a tour on. We went to eat at some popular dine ins in town, the food were very good. We went quad riding to the mountains, I had so much fun. Everything we did there was my first time. I was never out of my parents care for that long. And the most important thing was I got to meet my boyfriend’s amazing, accommodating and really nice family. We had a simple family dinner, I also got to meet both of his grandmothers and his cutie little niece. Everyone was super nice. They asked about my family, my culture, and my country. Anyways, as I was saying I felt the days went by so fast and did not realize we only had 1 day more and we had to leave Pennsylvania. But there was still one more thing we didn’t do, we haven’t been to his brother’s new house yet. So we saved that last day to visit his older brother. We stayed there and hung out for the rest of the day. My dad
I moved to America when I was nine years old. Even though I did not know any alphabet, I gradually got used to the new environment. Soon, I got pleased about being able to live in America. I especially liked the atmosphere there. For example, when I went to a store, I noticed that everyone was so friendly to others.
I heard my mom talking to my dad. He tells her, “voy a ir para el norte(US) con un coyote(a person who brings people to the US illegally) que cobra barato,” I see her hugging him really tight. My dad comes to my sister and I and tells us that he will be back later, to not worry because he’s just going to see how “el norte” is, then might take us there later. My sister, my mom, and I understood why he wanted to go to The United States, he wants a better life for us.
While staying the day at the campgrounds my family and I would go hiking, swimming, out to eat and visit tourist destinations in that area. As my family and I entered Arizona it was eye opening. It was very shocking to see that palm trees actually existed it Arizona. This event was of particular significance because it provided me
I may not have done this with both of my parents, like how I would have hoped for when I was younger but going with his family made me for fill that
It was super sunny. You could barely see 10 feet in front of you. The grass all around looked so soft and bouncy, I just wanted to drop my purse and roll around on it. While we were there we got to spend a lot of time in the ocean. We were on a sub marine, which is a glass boat that goes deep under the water.
I was born in Iraq, then moved out when I was about six years old. My country was getting worse and worse over the years so, we decided to move to Syria than to California. Coming to California was really difficult for me. I was bullied a lot, many people told me to ¨go back to your country.¨ I was bullied for the way I looked and dressed because I was born in Iraq until now no one expects me for the way I am.
We woke up at 5:00 a.m. ,and her grandparents were coming to pick us up at 5:30a.m. to begin our trip. We went to bed late the previous night because we were just so excited to be going together and so we could sleep in the car. Talking about the pictures we were gonna take, the places we would go, the beaches we would see, shopping, and more. Since we were so tired, we barely made it out of bed.
The hours passed, slowly, but they passed. Since my dad didn't go with us, we stayed with my grandma from my mom's side . My mom and I were going to stay in Mexico for a month and a week, something that seemed like eternity at that moment. Weeks went by and before I knew it, it was time to pack my suitcase and get ready to go. I always hated leaving; having to say goodbye to my relatives.
It was a hectic day. My friend had to call and have his grandparents pick him up which took about 45 minutes because they lived kind of far away. During that time, my dad told me “pack your bags, we need to go visit your grandmother” I remember that I didn’t pack much because I couldn’t think. My mom immediately booked us plane tickets to Portland. It was super close but we made the flight.
My favorite thing was going on ALL of the rides. Finally we made it back to the condo and went to bed to get ready for tomorrow's next

Florida This year my family went to Florida. It was our first family trip, and my only trip that I actually got to go on a plane! My grandpa was over at our house and he was giving my mom some flowers to put out on our patio, and I was in my room. When my mom and grandpa started a conversation about Florida.
All of us had fun, but we were exhausted. We went back to the rental and played some video games. Soon after my mom shouted, “Come eat dinner!” Then me and my sisters raced down the stairs and went right to the dining room. We ate to our fill and then we went right to
Have you ever moved houses? What about cities? Or states? Moving for many people is normal and doesn 't affect them whether they move to a different neighborhood or to a city far away. Some enjoy experiencing new places and new people, basically starting a new life.
It was the seventh day and I saw my grandfather and dad talking my grandfather said the last word and they hugged I was so confused what was going on, but it stayed in the back of my mind the rest of the trip. On the tenth day we went to the Hollywood Studies. I rode a ride called the Tower of Terror it was one of the best rides I had been on in Disney it is a complete adrenalin rush. I also went on the great movie ride which is cool because you find out so much about old movies and I love it my sister didn’t like it.
