First Extended Stay Away From Home

Going out of town and extending stay could get so stressful but I could always turn the situation into one memorable and awesome experience.
Last spring on the month of March, as my boyfriend is on his last 2 weeks vacation before his deployment he invited me to go home to Pennsylvania for me to meet his family. When he popped up the question I got really excited, to the point when we were already planning on what will the activities we would do while we are in his hometown. I totally forgot on how my parents are conservative and strict. So when I thought of how do I ask my parents permission since it will be my first out of town ever, that is when I lost all the words I could tell dad to open the topic. I knew he would not let me go. Having strict parents was not easy because I had to go by their rules.

It was very fun for the previous days, we went to this amazing “Water fall” house where it was family owned by an Architect and Engineers. The family designed the house that we got a tour on. We went to eat at some popular dine ins in town, the food were very good. We went quad riding to the mountains, I had so much fun. Everything we did there was my first time. I was never out of my parents care for that long. And the most important thing was I got to meet my boyfriend’s amazing, accommodating and really nice family. We had a simple family dinner, I also got to meet both of his grandmothers and his cutie little niece. Everyone was super nice. They asked about my family, my culture, and my country. Anyways, as I was saying I felt the days went by so fast and did not realize we only had 1 day more and we had to leave Pennsylvania. But there was still one more thing we didn’t do, we haven’t been to his brother’s new house yet. So we saved that last day to visit his older brother.
