Education has been, throughout my life, something that has excited me. In elementary school I remember I would rush home just so I could sit in my favorite sun-lit spot to do my homework. There wasn't much space with a seven-person family living in a cramped two-bedroom apartment, but I would still make room to set up my own classroom and teach math facts to my very unwilling little brothers. The goal for my future is one where I'm teaching children that math is not a subject to be afraid of. A future where I can say yes to every opportunity that is presented to me that will make me a better teacher and person. To get there, hard work is necessary, and that is something I've been familiar with my entire life.
Coming from a Middle Eastern family, my normal never lined up with everyone else's. It was normal for me to have an abusive father figure that saw one B on a

In my high school there was a sigma that anyone who went to JJC was going because they had no other choice. I was even questioned and shamed by one of my high school teachers for my choice. As this is my last semester here, I can say JJC was one of the best choices I've made. Being able to join the Honors Program and the Honors Society allowed me to meet and interact with great individuals who have the same mindset to work hard. Nevertheless, here at JJC is where I've worked my hardest. I've had two jobs and an internship at a local museum during a 19 credit-hour semester, which resulted in me maintaining a 3.8 GPA. I've kept my love for extracurricular activities alive through being visual representation for the JJC Honors Program, volunteering at a JJC hosted Foster Palloza event two years in a row, and at the end of February I will be presenting my honors project on Common Core Mathematics at an Academic Research Symposium held by EIU. Still, the biggest opportunity that has come forth from JJC is the Dual Degree Program with
Outside of receiving a great education, I think the program really focuses on creating leaders and community members. The program also has a great network of alumni, not to mention the campus looks amazing,” was Ajjarapu’s response when I asked him why he wanted to go to the University of Virginia and his desire towards the Jefferson Scholarship. There is no doubt that, if Ajjarapu receives the Jefferson scholarship, he will be put in the position to succeed through the
I have worked so hard in school waiting for a moment like this. UNCW would be a great challenge for me, but it would also help me out immensely. UNCW has a excellent education program and that is exactly the field of study I aim to go into. I spent approximately half of my sophomore year at the early college tutoring at Dobson Elementary. I cherished every second helping my fifth grade class.
Going to UNK has been a very worthwhile experience. For me, earning a bachelor’s degree from UNK can make a significant difference in my professional and personal life. there have been challenges going to school as a student
Many goals of mine manifest in education. Providing myself opportunities to
First off, I am humbled to be considered for membership of the National Honor Society. In my opinion on the foundation of the four pillars of NHS the FPC NHS chapter will benefit from my membership because I will bring intellect, drive, leadership, character, dedication to serve my community, honesty, respect, pride, discipline, compassion and among many other qualities a sense of humor. As an active member of my school and community I work hard to serve not just myself but those around me. I am an active volunteer throughout Flagler County as previously stated. I am a teenage volunteer at the Florida Hospital Flagler.
When I first graduated high school I thought I wanted to be a pilot to fly airplanes, so I signed up to attend classes at Kishwaukee College located in DeKalb. ECC helped me sing up for classes at an in district rate because Elgin could not offer the courses that I wanted to me. During the first semester I found out that I did not want to become a pilot anymore and that I would be happier if I changed and focused on computer science. The advisors helped me schedule classes back at ECC for computer science then next semester. During the last year and a half at ECC I have been able to start fulfilling my education goals by getting a good education and find out what I want to go to college for.
I started off by believing I will be an educator and that is it. I was wrong. I need to work hard to make my students’ futures better in an academic aspect and in a functional aspect. I want to create a class in high school where it educates students on basic job skills. I want to create a class in high school that helps students get ready for college and help them apply for different post-secondary education.
I currently am a junior Nursing major and Psychology minor at the illustrious Winston Salem State University. My choice to attend a HBCU has been one of the best decisions I have ever made in my twenty one years of life. It brings my heart so much pleasure in all thing that I do at my HBCU. Deciding to enroll at a HBCU is something much bigger than myself. I am my ancestor’s wildest dreams
In high school, my goals consisted of making the dance team, joining a foreign language club, excelling in JROTC, and having fun. My goals as a soon to be high school graduate consist of two major corresponding things: Attending college in order to access a degree in Elementary Education, and getting my certification to teach Special Education so that I can help those who have bigger problems than simply not having enough money. I’ve learned that helping those who have worse circumstances than yourself is one of the best feelings that a person can have. Dr. Suess explained, “You’re on your own.
Some people dream to be a successful and famous public speaker. Others want to be a millionaire or a billionaire. Singers as well as actors wish to be successful in their career and become famous. Teachers may hope to succeed in imparting knowledge to their students. Many students simply would like to pass examinations or have good grades in school.
In a world where lives are born and taken every second, I think back to my childhood and my earliest memory is my parents divorce, but there 's so much more to me than just that. Who I am and how I got here today is a collaboration of many more memories. My parents divorce, my siblings, friendships I’ve made and lost, achievements and failures, and my future goals and aspirations. Ultimately, all of this makes, and has made, me. It is a collection of influences, experiences, and memories that make up all of us, as individuals.
My goals have changed a lot over the last couple of years. Bouncing back and forth between majors and deciding if I even want to be taking college classes right now. I kept asking myself why I should struggle with hard classes when I have a good job right now. But then I stopped and repeated “good job right now.” My job as a twenty year old might support me right now but is it going to support me in ten or fifteen years when I’m trying to buy a house and support my family?
I want to enter into the field of education because I want to see children succeed. I love to let children know that they can accomplish anything that they put their minds to. I want to enter the field of education because I genuinely have a passion to teach and better every child that I can. I aspire to be a teacher because I want to become a great teacher that kids can look up to. I hope to someday be a teacher that when a child grows up they still remember fondly.
When I graduate high school, I plan on having future goals that I plan on achieving. My first goal is to go to college and get a degree. I plan on attending Purdue NorthWest majoring in engineering and minoring in business. This is my number one future goal that I need to accomplish because to be able to have a nice life, I need to go to college to support my future family. My next future goal would be get a starting job to be able to support my future family.
My future goal is to be a Diagnostic Sonography Technician. The aspiration I have is to make my parents proud. I will be the first child in my home to graduate from high school and go to college and continue studying. Not only would I be making my parents proud, but going to college always guarantees you have a better job, with a better pay this means I would be able to help my parents out with a lot more than just a bill. When my parents are to be an old age my goal is for them not to have to worry about expenses, because I would be covering it.
