I 'm trying to imagine a life without you──it 's like living in a desert without food, water, clothing, and shelter. How horrible! You 've made, and continue to make my life easier. With you, I can play games, surf the internet, watch videos, read e-books, make calls (video and voice), and listen to radio and music player, just to name a few. No doubt, however, you can have some negative impact on me when misused. Health experts have warned that radiation from you possess a serious health risk such as cancer, brain tumors, headaches, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and fatigue. Also, light from you can lead to problems with my vision (Repacholi, 2001; Mustapha & Awoyemi, 2007 ). Thus, in the words of Dr. Myles Munroe: "When a purpose is not known, …show more content…

You made my navigation from the bus station to my destination less daunting.
Also, you 've helped me save time, money, and reduce stress during any business transaction. I can shop online, pay utility bills, and check my bank account details, without necessarily walking to the counter. For instance, I recall buying some of my textbooks from one the online retail stores. Not just buying, it was delivered in less than 5 working days to my doorstep. The interesting part of all these was that: I did the whole transaction, through a mobile application developed by the online retail store. How sweet that was!
Lastly, in March, 2014, you saved my life and valuables from robbers in my school hostel. I was able to put a call through to the private security guard employed by the school authority through their helplines. Informing them of a robbery operation in our flats by a group of bandits who were carting away the belongings of students and inflicting injuries on those who tried to resist. That simple call I made through you, alerted the school security operatives, who swung into action. They pursued the fleeing robbers and caught one of them, with the rest escaping with gunshot wounds. Luckily, however, the robbers didn 't get to my flat before they were engaged in a gun duel by my school security guards. I was lucky not to have lost my valuables──laptop, mobile phone, and little cash. If it wasn 't for you, maybe I wouldn’t have been alive, today.
