I actually have taken from both sides of the spectrum from realizing that one special transformative moment but also not even knowing that it would end up steering me towards my current career choice. At a young age, I constantly wanted to express myself through music. I always found a way to incorporate music into my daily life, whether it be by blasting my favorite music, creating my own funky songs, or even having the opportunity to participate in my elementary school choir. My love for music actually took flight after I had decided to join my elementary school choir, however, in my opinion, it is not the most transformative moment in my life. After elementary
My Greatest Accomplishment A truly great accomplishment is something that lasts and requires determination and extensive effort. For me, making the Texas Small School All-State Mixed Choir was my biggest accomplishment because it opened me up to new passions, taught me how to work hard, and set me on the path I am on today. In my sophomore year, I joined choir simply to get my fine arts credit out of the way. At the time I did not have any plans for college and was uncertain on what I wanted to do with my life after high school. I honestly hated school and just wanted to get it over with.
At the end of grade eleven, I thought to myself I would love to teach music. It brings joy and happiness to my life. So it would be something great to pursue. Holly was inspired by this and learned many ways to sway the crowd and get them to fall in love with his entertaining music. They got a contract in Nashville for Decca, after they performed on the local radio station KDVA. They also released several songs as Holly in the Hills before their contract (Romanowski & George-Warren, 2001). The Jackson 5 maintained a recording schedule and busy tour. From 1971 to 1972, they had their own self-titled cartoon show because they were becoming so popular. At an earlier point in their career, they were opening acts for famous artists such as Gladys Knight and the Pips, James Brown, and Sam and Dave (“Michael Jackson”).
