September 11,2014 The Adventures Of Ms. Luminite As I sat in the chairs of the Chicago funeral home, all I could think of was my last moment with my mom as she said “C’ Ne , one day you will fulfill your destiny.” Tears running down my face , I faced the fact that I was 8 years old and would never see my mother again. Today makes it 10 years since my Mom passed. She passed on our birthday, which now makes me 18. I swing my legs over my bed and walk to the picture of my mom on the wall “Happy Birthday mom , I miss you, I love you” I say. I go to the bathroom and get ready for the day. When I come out, my nose sends me

I found pictures and names and addresses. I guess these people were awaiting my arrival. I went upstairs and grabbed my drawstring Adidas bag and started putting in some clothes. I went to the bathroom and took a shower. I put on a black t-shirt and black pants and my black boots. I went downstairs and got out the keys to my moms old car. I have only used it once when my dad was gone and I had to go to the store to get milk. Dad I thought. I felt a tear come down my cheek, I quickly wiped it away covering my mouth to stifle a cry. I walked out the front door, I stood in the doorway for a second. I looked around at all the things that I would miss. I breathed in a big gulp of my life, and breathed out letting it all go. I closed the door behind me and locked it. As I walked to the garage I could feel the weight of the box in my bag. I hauled up the garage door, I walked over to the car and gingerly pulled off the dust cover. There she was, my moms Ford Explorer. I always thought that I was the type of girl who would like small cars. Nope, I was just like my mom. I got in the car pulling my bag off my back and setting it in the passenger seat. I started the car and pulled out of the garage. I got out the car to close and lock the garage and then I was off to my first destination. As I was driving I pulled out the box and looked at some of the address that my mom had left me. I looked at the first name in the book. …show more content…
the next person on your list will give you the mission that your mother died trying to finish, You will fulfill your destiny and make her proud” I left that night and set out to Virginia. I kept replaying the last moment with Jessica where she said “ You will make her proud.” I would have a small flash back and see my mother crouching down and looking me in the eyes and saying the same thing “C’ Ne , one day you will fulfill your destiny.” I would cry until I couldn't see the road any more. Then I would stop. I knew that I had to do this, I had to make her proud. I arrived at the next address. There was a man sitting out on the porch. He stood when I got out of the car. I walked up to him and he handed me a piece of paper and an envelope. I turned and left. I got in the car and drove off. I parked in the parking lot of McDonalds. I went inside and ordered a large caramel frappe and a large fry. I went out to the car and sat in the trunk and started looking through the package. I saw a company name and knew that it had looked familiar. I took a guess thats what I had to do. The were selling items that would make the biggest bomb in the world. I started driving. I couldn't let this mission fail. I had to succeed. I had to make my mother proud. I got to the city and went to a store. I bought some clothes. Then I checked into a hotel room and started sifting through the packet. I saw the place that I

I opened the door and jumped out of the car. Then the chilly air and the wind greeted me by wrapping themselves around me. I waited a few seconds so my body could cool down. A few seconds later, I saw that the other scouts were getting out of their car and starting to get their packs from the trunk. I did so too.
Annabelle and I were late to the boat to Italy. We were so rushed that when we ran across the dock, we got on the wrong boat. We were on the boat to the Thirteen Colonies. My sister and I didn’t realize until we started talking to some of the other kids on the boat.
When I stepped outside the school, the cool wind gently brushed my face. I walked to my bus, strutted up the bus stairs and took my seat in the far back where no one could annoy me. The bus ride seemed like forever watching the city go by, I was the second to last stop, but I liked being last it gave me more time to do homework on the bus. The bus came to halt in my neighborhood, and I walked off the bus towards the large house at the end of the street, the house was a massive, modern structure. I slowly walked in the house and plopped down on the white comfy couch.
I thought, I'm here so let's just use this one. So I picked it up and walked back to the house. It was getting dark so I
I was extremely uneasy about moving to somewhere new but I threw my bags into the trunk and closed it very softly and ran my hand across the back of the car. As I opened the back door I glanced back at the old house one last time before stepping into the back of the car. My brother very quickly got in the other side of the car and very excitedly yelled “come on! Let’s go!”
After a couple hours some guy walked in a black robe, and it looked like he was floating. I followed him to the back ,but i didn’t make it obvious. When he reached the back, he turned around to check if anyone was looking at what he was doing. He almost saw me so I hid behind a bookshelf. When I looked up he was grabbing a book off one the shelves.
The final bags were filled with extras ( toothbrush, toothpaste, food, etc.).The car was very empty on the way there. My dad was driving. My mom was in the passenger seat and I was in the back with my sister. On they way there we saw a really cool, broke down farm. It was still up and running but, it didn 't have any animals.
Walking into my room I looked at my school picture on the wall, and on the bottom Mason Clastipher was engraved. I walked into my bedroom, which was messy like it always was dropped my backpack and started on some homework. I was about half way done with
“Niyah, when you come in here for a second, please,” my mom said. “Oh no,” I thought. “It was only 8 o’clock in the morning! What could I have possibly done?” I washed my hands and went to my mom’s room.
Sometimes I would stop on the steps of building to rest. A policemen found me and was very kind and took me to a bus station and waiting with me until the bus came. After I got off the bus I couldn’t really see the numbers on either side of the street so I
My sister came running to my room out of breath telling me to get ready.so i quickly put my jeans on and colorful shirt. She grabs her car keys and me questioning where are we going. We went to her friends house they had to change. I was so confused why are there changing and why are there names and numbers on there back. When we got to the destination.
I lay on my bed, tears rolling down my face looking at an old photo of my mom, my dad knocks on the door and enters the room, “Are you ok?” he asks looking at the tears rolling down my cheeks, “You miss her don’t you?” I nodded my head “I do too son I think about her
