Before you are a leader, success is all about growing yourself. When you become a leader success is all about growing others. (Jack Welch) What leadership means to me is the action of leading a group of people or an organization. To me, being a good leader means to speak up When you see something wrong or try to stop them if you can. For example, when I was in middle school some girls were smoking in the locker room. They asked my friends and me if we wanted to try it. I said "No." My friends were about to do it. I step up and said "You really should not do that, it's wrong, you can get in trouble and smoking cause cancer." they actually listened to me. That was one good example of me taking action as a leader. Here is another reason of
A leader is someone that is in charge of a group, organization, country, etc. A leader is also someone that perfects all the views of leadership, this is important because when a leader is facing a situation he or she will know how to handle it. Everyone has leadership qualities but it's how you use these qualities and traits that make you a good or bad leader. For instance, Oprah is viewed as a good leader because although she went through a lot of issues in her life she was able to use those trials as a way to inspire others. A bad leader is Rafael trujillo,
Lisa Cash Hanson said, "Leadership is the ability to guide others without force into a direction or decision that leaves them still feeling empowered and accomplished. " Hanson continues to remind me of the selfless nature that great leaders continue to practice. To me, leadership is not a title or destination. Leadership isn't about remembrance or fame, it's about the impact, inspiration, and the influence you have on others.

Leadership Philosophy My leadership philosophy is based on the importance of communication, and inspiration. As leaders we have to work hard to accomplish our mission but at the same time we have to take care of our Soldiers and their Families to accomplish the mission. All leaders have different qualities but through time we build our qualities with experience. The importance of communication is to ensure that your Soldiers understand the task to be done.
Leadership is can mean different things to different people. To me, leadership is more than having a title and subordinates. Leadership is having the courage to make the right choices, engage others in a vision, and empower your subordinates with a shared purpose and to achieve positive impacts. Leadership can also be relational which means it takes teamwork, requires you to be able to work with others in various backgrounds and that may have difference perspectives. Leadership also requires continuous learning, discerned decision making, and savvy communication skills.
Leadership is a character trait that separates one from the pack, it describes someone who is confident and creative. My leadership skills that I have learned throughout my life journey have helped me on numerous occasions. I aspire to be a teacher, so leadership is a vital quality in order to keep a classroom attentive and under control. I am the president of the Jefferson Awards Foundation Students in Action club at my school, and have been for the past 3 years. This incredible opportunity has allowed me to use my leadership skills in many different ways, as well as assisted me in becoming a better leader.
Personal Leadership Philosophy According to me, Leadership is where a person can motivate and influence people around him to accomplish a vision without any coercion. When a person is able to move and evolve people’s life towards a transformational change with their support, he is an effective leader. Someone who can connect people to see his vision and make them work towards his mission with the core values he laid down is a sign of a great leader. A great leader should be a visionary leader and able to motivate his employees / followers to do tasks willingly rather than using his power influence as a boss.
My faith and belief in God defines who I am in all aspects of my life; as a student, daughter, friend, and citizen. “For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. ”(Jeremiah 29:11 NIV). 1 This scripture is the guiding principle for my life. I believe in this scripture
There are many different views and perceptions on leadership and what it exactly means. This is because there are many different types of leaders and many different views on them. But the basic meaning of leadership is an individual who can select the right group of followers and influence them through their distinct gifts, abilities, skills and knowledge. A leader focuses on the follower and puts out a roadmap to the overall mission and vision; hereby the follower is influenced to willingly and enthusiastically in achieving the mission and vision. The leader achieves this influence by humbly delivering a visionary perception of the future in clear terms that resonates with the follower in terms of their believes and values.
Leadership is taking a group of people and being able to influence and motivate them to complete a task that is better for the organization. In order to be a good leader, you need to be able to have the trust of the people you are influencing and motivating. This trust is not given to you, it is earned. This trust is earned by the leader’s attributes which is what people see when they say that is a good leader.
1. A leader who I admire whose behavior is primarily task-oriented would be my teachers. Some of them showed me the way I wanted to someday lead and others showed me exactly how not to.
Leadership is a quality that we all have and can develop over time. No matter who you are, you are most likely going to be put into a position of leadership sometime throughout your life. The leadership meaning can capture the essential of being inspire to other people and prepare to do so. The for the most effective is based on idea and opinion; maybe from the original or borrow from someone else, but won’t happen unless those ideas can be communicated to others.
