From the beginning of history, through the different centuries and civilizations, men have always felt the need to adore a god. This even lead to the worshipping of multiple gods by various tribes and civilizations. Two good examples of worshipping civilization are the Greek Mythology, which came to worship more than twenty gods, and the Roman Empire. Many people do not believe in God, but men always wonder if it is true that God exists provoking debates and even had come to provoke wars. It is difficult to prove the existence of God even though there are historical and biblical facts that could demonstrate this veracity.
Independently of those facts it could be said through different personal cases, well known as Saint Paul’s or St. Augustine’s,

My life before I met God, it was a life of screaming, anger, fighting with my son. My son was on the wrong track and I could not stop him, and it caused me a lot of stress and anxiety. I wanted to correct him with my own strength and punishments, and I thought that alone I could do it, and caused more distance with my son, greater frustration and immense sadness to see that nothing had changed. If something changed, it was always wrong. Nothing I tried to do was useless, we went to psychiatrist’s psychologists and nothing worked out.
How did you first feel God? How was your reaction?
It happened several casualties in my life, and without knowing why, one morning walking through the town something made me enter a church. At that moment, I felt like something was saying to me "kneel", I refused to kneel in a church, but that word kept rumbling in my head and I had the obligation to kneel down. It was at the moment when an enormous love invaded me, I felt clearly the immensity of God, and heard "without me, you can’t". Before such love and such greatness I could only cry and laugh at the same time, it only came out of my mouth "this is immense". It made it clear, God

Worship has been around since the beginning of humanity. Whether it is the love of one God or numerous divine beings, veneration has constantly had significant influence in the lives of adherents. Those with a specific confidence have the voracious craving to satisfy their god(s). In numerous antiquated social orders, for example, old Persia, the lord was taken a gander at as one of the numerous divine beings that exist. The lord is to be adulated as the physical god that favors the subjects with his unimportant vicinity.
At the time I felt betrayed by God for making my mother go through such hell. I believed he either did not exist or that he did not care about us. My mother’s reaction to my grandmother’s death ended my faith in God, but then she recovered and I was unsure what to believe. Was there a God? Did he give my mother the strength to get better or did he abandon her in her greatest time of need?
After we were done for the night, I couldn't wait to tell Lisa what had happened. I didn't know it was called being saved, I just knew that something amazing had happened. We spent the rest of my time at college house that night praying, thanking him for his glory, and for finding me when I needed him most. The rest of my night, I spent calling my family and friends and telling them the amazing news. From that moment on I have been fully devoted to my faith.
Growing up Christianity had always been part of my life and there was no question about it. My family was christian and the culture that my parents grew up in was heavily religious. However, I personally never had a true connection to Christ at a young age. To me church was the place I went to answer questions in Sunday School and win prizes for it, and that was how I saw it for a long time. It was hard for me to see it has more than that and from the outside I may have looked like the kid had a true connection with Christ by the way I talked in front of the church when my class presented, or the fact that I was able to answer most if not all the questions correctly.
I was in a very dark place in my life when I read my very first Bible verse. I was at a trip with my school, and the facility we were visiting had Jeremiah 29:11-13 posted on the wall. Most of my peers payed little to no attention to it, but I could not stop reading it. I remember being full of bitterness and
I could not take it anymore. On cold February evening, I attended a Christian Bible study where I met new friends. They prayed for me and made me feel closer to God. I remember thinking that night, ‘these are the kind of people I want to be surrounded by’.
Greek mythology can be viewed as a mirror to the ancient Greek civilization. Ancient Greek myths and legends often reflected how the Greeks saw themselves. Myths were used by Greeks to make justifications of every existing aspect of earth as well as their own society. In myths, Greek gods & heroes often represented key aspects of the human civilization. From Greek mythology, we can learn about the favorable characteristics of humans, such as their behavior and valuable skills that were approved of by the ancient Greek society.
Greek mythology has been one of the most complicated subjects in the field of religion and mythology. This is due to the complex relations and interactions which exists in the history of Greek gods and the humans who lived in ancient Greece. Different versions of the existence and the establishment of the superior beings were developed, which at times created suspense for readers through their interactions. The various tales which exist explain the various connections between different gods, how they relate to one another, the ideological order in which they came into existence as well as the interactions they had with humans. These tales form the basis of various religious beliefs and practices since it is perceived that it is through the interactions of the gods that humans came into existence, a situation which created the dependent relationship between mortals and gods.
“In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.” I said as i dutifully made the sign of the cross and picked up my book of hymns. As the organist began playing, I stared at the large golden cross that hung above the altar, its metallic sheen contrasting with the deep green marble. I was baptized as a Catholic, attended a Catholic elementary school and high school, and attended church every Sunday with my family. I made my first reconciliation and received a small silver cross necklace with a tiny peridot in the center.
The Resemblance of Gods and Humans Throughout all religions, gods have always been seen as superior in every way possible. The division between humans and gods has always been prevalent and prominent. However, when the actions and motives of these gods are truly analyzed, it will become evident that the gods of Greek Mythology merely behave as humans with supernatural powers.
Title: Critical evaluation of existence of god Name: Lokesh Singh Roll No. : 13110054 Word Count: 1010 Critical evaluation of existence of god There are many theories and explanations on the concept of god. God is a word which has different meanings for different persons, for example, for an atheist god is just an idea or concept which is evolved by time. But for others this is far greater than that. Many philosophers thought about the definition of god. St. Anselm is the one of the great philosopher who clarified the definition of god and gave an argument about existence of god.
The debate of the existence of God has always been a controversial topic and has been going on for centuries. Till this day it is still a debate. We have people who strongly believe in God and others who questions his existence. Those who have strong faith will try to convince everyone who does not believe in God that he exits. They will try to come up with arguments to show he is real and good.
These experiences are concerned with three topics. 1) “Similarly between religious experiences and how do they support the existence of God? 2) What philosophical problems are there that these experiences can give us knowledge about God? 3) Is there alternative explanation for experience?” William James described religious experiences as the heart of every religion.
It’s difficult to pinpoint a specific moment in one’s life in which your life is transformed. We often realize that this moment is so signingagent when looking back on personal experiences and don’t realize it at the time. For me, this moment occurred when I realized that I had taken what I love most for granted. It all started back in 2004 when my family suggested that I get into a sport at a young age.
