It is a profession in which teamwork between healthcare providers is essential to provide safe and appropriate care to all patients. I believe that nursing is a profession for me, and will continue to expand my knowledge as a nurse by educating myself, growing from past nursing opportunities, applying knowledge, and learning from patients and their families. My vision is to continue to develop my knowledge and grow as a nurse. As I continue to grow and learn about nursing, I believe that my philosophy will evolve with every new experience and will positively impact the client population. I trust that my philosophy of nursing will have a positive impact on my clients as my goal is to consistently provide competent, safe nursing care to all which is culturally safe.
My personal goal is simply to be successful, and I don't mean money but to be happy with myself and what I have been able to accomplish. The career I chose to pursue is Registered Nurse. The reason why I chose Registered Nurse as my career choice is I love helping people. It is essential to me to be a patient advocate, provider, teacher, manager, and leader because I think that we as nurses should deliver the highest quality nursing care in order to accomplish excellence in patient 's outcomes. To me nursing is about compassion and trying to understand human beings on all emotional, physical, and scientific levels. As a professional nurse, I feel a personal commitment toward life-long learning, through formal education and hands-on experience to better myself and my nursing knowledge. Of all the things that make up nursing, nobody can truly understand or know what it means to be a nurse until they have actually lived it. The first thing that comes to mind when someone asks me why I want to be a nurse is because I just love to take care of people.
Because of this implanted motivation, nurses are reinforced to reach higher levels of growth. Nurses also feel that they are valued when transformational leaders reach out to them; they get excited to participate and share their knowledge that also contributes to strong cooperation or openness. The real benefit goes to their patients during their intervention, when transformational nurse leader listens attentively to the needs of their patients. This leadership style also increases the image and reputation of the hospital or clinic within the community that they
Nurses around the world believe that their profession is more than just a job, but it’s a way of life. They indeed, play very significant roles in promoting wellness, treatment, recovery, and sustainability of patient’s health. Nurses are same with other noble professions who have needs, thus, working in this field also calls for a healthy working environment and a sound professional growth to keep them going and to be the best as they can be.

I have unknowingly evolved into the nursing student and future registered nurse I want to become through my lived experiences; the interactions between patients and their family members, the nurses that I have worked hand in hand with, and the education I have received from my teachers, have individually helped me build my own personal set of values and beliefs to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to diverse populations with dedication and passion. To help patients meet their goals to bathe, eat, dress and be turned-what many take for granted- is emotionally rewarding and I am honored to have helped all of the patients I have helped the past three years as a hospital volunteer, clinical assistant, and a student nurse advancing in my career with a goal in becoming a registered nurse.
