My Passion Of Becoming A Nurse

People will forget what you said, People will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel. Being a nurse in general is one of the most important jobs in the world.You can either make or break someone's life at anytime.. I know that nursing in general can be very stressful and can also take up most of your time, but it will make you feel a lot better knowing that you just saved someone's life. I have seen nurses help my family members in their best times and also their worst times. Since I was little I have always wanted a job to where I am constantly helping people get back on their feet. Seeing these nurses take care of my family the way they did make me want to become that one day! There are many different branches in the medical field, and the one I'm most interested in is being a Flight Nurse or a trauma nurse.

Caring, compassionate, leaders, dedicated, non-judgmental, passionate, holistic, and healers are only some of the words used to describe the profession of nursing. ADD HERE. I am choosing to pursue nursing because I want to make a difference in the world. Nothing is more satisfying than providing care to someone when they need it the most. I have been interested in the medical field for as long as I can remember. Although I am intrigued by the human body and everything that it can do, I have a passion for providing care. I firmly believe that the desire I have to help is what determined my decision to pursue nursing. When I graduate and obtain my baccalaureate degree, I hope to begin my journey in the Emergency Room or in the Labor and Delivery Unit. I am attracted to the E.R.

Nurse Practitioner, professional health care I wish to pursue because of, caring for people,getting paid a lot, working a set schedule. I have been interested in being a Nurse Practitioner for about a year or two2. I have always had an interest in the medical field,but being a nurse really hooked me, because they are always in need and they are payed well.

My educational goal is to graduate from college and get my bachelor 's degree in Pediatric Nursing. This reason why I say this is because graduating from college is a huge accomplishment. Graduating from high school and going to college is a huge stepping stone because you 're starting a new chapter in your life. Think about it, you are going through 4 years of learning about a major that you are passionate about and wanting to have a career is the biggest motivational drive, What you’re passionate about can be your drive to finish college because wouldn’t you want a career?

Over the past couple of years, I have been giving a great deal of thought as to what I want to do and who I want to be in the future. Ever since I was five, I always knew I wanted to be in the medical field. Being in the medical field and helping other people is my passion. Recently, I have considered becoming a Registered Nurse. My skills and interest reflect those of a Registered Nurse and I have what it takes to be an exceptional Nurse. I have strong communication and interpersonal skills. I am and have been for years, fascinated by anatomy and physiology. I have great communication, understanding, and multitasking skills and I love assisting people in any way that I can. I love being in the Student Athletic Training Program at school

My future career is to become a registered nurse. I was interested in nursing field because when I was little I had been in and out of the hospitals. I was born with asthma and it was difficult for me to breath when I was little. Until now I am still having some problems. Now that I am older I take more noticed one what nurse do and some of my nurses have in inspired me to a nurse. My parents have also inspired me because the didn't have the opportunity to study because they had to work at a very young age. Some rewards I would get from this field would be that if some one from my family is sick I can help them out.

The nursing profession to my understanding is one that helps others by using skills that is blended with scientific knowledge, compassion, thoughtfulness and caring, as well as the community. They provide preventative and restorative health care to patients and the community in a variety of settings. The nursing profession requires a person who is self-motivated, compassionate; an individual who will understand a person not only with their biological needs, but also their psycho social and cultural needs as well. For this reason, I believe I have all these skills to be an advanced professional registered Nurse.

I chose nursing for my health science career because I enjoy helping people who need assistance. I have researched the nursing career and by reading the information provided to me, I have a clearer understanding of the duties and key important tasks that need to be done. Before choosing to become a nurse you must first understand the requirements for becoming a nurse and also have qualities that help you when working. Some qualities include being; caring, patience, and have good health. You need strength for duties like lifting patients and also performing CPR.

What is a better way to spend your life than helping people in need everyday? I plan to attend the college of UAB, the University of Alabama at Birmingham and study nursing. A Nurse provides medical attention and nursing care to patients in a hospital, a home, to people who are suffering from chronic or minor physical or mental health. To become a registered nurse I need to study, work hard and continuously learn to add onto my degree.

Among all the nurses interviewed, many of them saw their professions as a calling from a higher power. For example on page 78, Catherine who has been a nurse for 25 years states” I see nursing as a spiritual vocation. It is much more than work; I find it a way of serving”. Being messenger of Good Faith is a characteristic that I found very appealing. This is the kind of nurse I hope to be. I want to be there for my patients with my faith during the hardest times. Also I want to help them understands that God is wonderful and he is always present among us.

I believe that I am capable of being an excellent nurse who patients trust and look to for advice on their health.

Nursing is the nation’s largest health care profession. It is fast pace and there is never a dull moment throughout the workday. Everyday is different and every patient is different. Although the hours are really long and the education is very expensive, being a Registered or a Pediatric Nurse would best suit me because I love helping people, there are jobs available where I want to live,the salary is really good and it will help me to pay off college debts, and overall it is just something I could see myself doing.
