My Perfect Role Model

To me a role model is a person who has positively influenced someone in life. They help mold someone’s characteristics, and personality. They are people who someone can look up to for advice in a hard situation, and know that they will give that person some guidance. They will never judge our past actions, instead they will only look to help because they really care. A perfect role model for me is my cousin Casey. He is ambitious, hard-working, funny, and so much more. All my life he has played a large role in the decisions I have made. My mom tells me that when I was little, three or four years old, I was completely fascinated by him. She says, “Whenever we’d go and see my cousins I would just follow Casey around and do everything he’d do, which he didn’t like”. Even today as I look back on the choices I’ve made in life, I can see traces of his influence. Whether it be disc golfing, the way I dress, my first job, or even my first car. Through my life Casey has always been a humongous influence to me. Usually Casey wears a sweatshirt or a button up shirt, with a pair of jeans, and an old worn out pair of black nikes. At 6 foot Casey’s height is one of his most prominent characteristics, as well as his strong shoulders, bird like chest, and his short black hair. From first glance most people would think Casey is Athletic and nibble, but as most my family says “He moves around about as well as a bull in a china shop”.
