The choices that I make will always follow me around and will never go away. We all make choices everyday and it can be on anything. I remember when I made the choice to not study for a test and as you can guess, the outcome was bad. Sometimes we don’t think before we act and that makes us chose careless and dreadful choices. “But Wes knew exactly what he had stumbled on.
1. Being well known and respected is hard to come by today, with the quick judgments individuals make. Judge Dorn and Judge Ciavarella seemed to have an exception and were liked by many people. The public really liked the way they ran the system, always speaking publically to ensure safety and ease for kids who are lost.
As a poor college student, I am hardly participating in much shopping behavior. I only have the money to buy what I absolutely need, and when I do make a purchase I have to prevent risk. I stick with the products I have used before and that I know I can rely on. Duhigg would call this behavior habitual, and it is. It would take too much time to go over every product in every store before making a purchase.
He also explains that it is important to set deadlines, prioritize tasks, and begin to work on your goals. I felt that this really hit home for me because I find myself often starting tasks at work without a plan in mind and often end up aimlessly working on bits and pieces and wasting time. I plan to do this by updating my agenda daily to set my deadlines and prioritize daily tasks and preplanning goals. By doing this daily in the morning, I will have the ability to time block my day into three sections (morning, afternoon, night) to plan my day. Another key point that Tracy makes is “Creative Procrastination”, which is a fun way for saying prioritize your tasks.
“If you don’t like it you can go home.” This also changes the mood as it was quite light before but then when Trish started making comments it changed to being offensive. But once I found him helpless and falling apart, I submitted to his authority not because of his fear but for being there for me and my family throughout his life 2. How has reflecting on and/or researching your topic and creating the story impacted you? As I have said before, my story is based on a personal narrative and I has left everlasting
Without hiding any events, I found my world to be a daunting task to overcome. At the age of 13, I tried something new; I opened my battered soul up to another human being. Although it may sound pathetic, I felt home in another place or person. Feeling comfortable, I was never feared to express to my friend what I thought about current events, and ordinarily, when it felt muddy to move through the path. In return, I gave them the most useful advice in this realm of pain: social advice.
