It would be it first time to ever leave Memphis and ride on a real airplane. Tuesday morning came and it was time to leave; our flight was at eight o’clock in the morning. The airport was huge and crowded. People were going in every direction,
Charles Lindbergh was so determined to do it but he did not have the money for a new plane. So, he had nine local businessmen help him to pay for the new plane. The plane was built by Ryan Aeronautical Company in San Diego. He named the plane “The Spirit of St. Louis.” Lindbergh did a test run of the plane from San Diego, where it was built, to New York, only stopping in St. Louis for one night (Charles, 1). Ten days later, he decided to attempt his transAtlantic flight, flying out of Roosevelt field at 7:52AM.
We finally got to the house we stayed at and went to sleep. Over the night, it had snowed about one and a half feet. In the morning, we woke up eager to get out on the fresh snow and ski. We hurried to the mountain with our skis and took the lift to the top of the mountain. As we started skiing, we approached a section of the mountain where we could only
Can you guess where my first trip was to? In May 13, 2003, I had my first trip to El Paso Texas. I woke up at 8am I was super excited and nervous at the same time, because I knew this trip would be a great experience for me. I was going to take a plane for the first time. Me and my family drove thirty minutes to the airport.
When the plane landed, Aiden and Camryn said their goodbyes, going their separate ways. Aiden rented a car, he has a 4 hour drive to get to Fairbanks. Driving down the road already an hour into the drive, the car started to sputter and shake. Pulling over to the side of the road. He got out and looked at the car, eagerly pride opened the hood.
My parents told us that we were going to a magical place called Disney Word. When we got on the plane, I jumped up and down in my seat. I started asking a lot of questions,”Why did I have to step through the big metal door? What does the conveyor belt go to? Why did we have to take a plane to Florida?” My dad softly said, “We just went through
We started driving on the road as soon as we finished our breakfast. The road was beautiful and it took us almost 9 hours to get there. I was car sick and I was sleeping most the time. The place I woke up is in Los Angeles and we ate our lunch at Los Angeles. As we arrived at San Diego, we first went to our hotel at dropped our baggage at the hotel.
We had been on a flight for about three hours, and I was very scared, because that was my first time on a plane. We were sightseeing in Arizona for a day or two, taking pictures and shopping around the local stores, looking for cool stuff to bring home for our families. The day after, we were supposed to take a van for a 12 hour trip to Puerto Penasco, to the Penasco del Sol Hotel. That
As a Navy Reservist in a top cargo handling unit, I found myself on an airplane more often than I could have imagined. In those 5 years, we traveled to Virginia and Texas numerous times throughout the year for our weekend meetings not to mention yearly trips to places like California, Guam and Hawaii. It doesn't matter if I was away for the weekend or for two and a half weeks, packing made me apprehensive. I knew what I must bring... the uniform and what I wanted to bring... fun clothes. But I wanted to bring everything under the son with me knowing well that I'd have to buy more luggage for the trip home.
I full of excitement (Absolute), got to packing as soon as I found out. We got there by driving I believe my parents realized their mistake at about hour two because of hearing "are we almost there" every couple of minutes. We left at night so that we could sleep most of the ride, but I couldn’t, I was so excited. When we finally got there, it was amazing and all I had seen was the hotel room. We stayed in the resort so that things were more continent.
