My Personal Hero

I have many people who fit the title of being a personal hero, but I think the offensive coordinator for the Detroit Lions is at the top of my list, Jim Bob Cooter. From calling all of the plays for my favorite football team to helping people on and off the field, he really is a great person. He has inspired me to do many things like pursue a passion for sports and social activities. My best experience with Jim Bob Cooter was when I went to a Detroit Lions game and saw him calling the Lions offensive plays. Another reason that he is my hero is because the Lions had not been doing very good, but when he came they increased their win percentage, which shows he is a good offensive coordinator. He shows that you don’t have to be the most famous person in sports to make a difference for your team, he’s not a LeBron James or Tom Brady, he’s an offensive coordinator who barely anyone knows about, but he still makes a difference for the Lions. Jim Bob Cooter shows that you have to beat adversity to succeed, many people have laughed at him over his lifetime, mostly because of his name, but he didn’t get to choose his name.

But Jim Bob Cooter has stuck with the Lions even though they are not the best team out there. Jim Bob Cooter has done many things to help the Lions franchise grow and win more than they had before, and for that he should get recognized more than he does. So many people in sports start out small and get bigger and bigger as they are playing whatever sport they are. After all of the tough times Jim Bob Cooter has been through to make it to the great league that is the NFL. He is really a great person who has made it to the top but does not get enough credit for what the Lions have
