My Role In The National Honor Society

I try my best to participate in as many as I can. These include Student Council, People Helping People, cross country, basketball (high school and AAU), softball, church choir and Relay for Life. The past three years I have been an officer in the Student Council and a member of a team whether it was sports or church. On the basketball court I am the point guard which is the playmaker of the team. I can bring this roll with me. I show leadership in all I do by encouraging others and voicing my opinion. I always give 100% and make sure nobody is left behind. In school we have group work and classroom activities. Leadership plays a large role in these activities. I show leadership in group work by taking charge and ensuring everyone is doing their part in it. I try and make sure one person is not doing all the work. In the classroom I show leadership by paying attention and turning all the assessments in on time. People say being polite and having manners will help you in life. At a young age I was taught to always be polite and have good manners and it has stayed with me to this day. I believe this is how I influence others in a positive way. When people witness me being polite it seems to influence them to be polite. By being a part of the National Honor Society will help me reach one of my goals I had when I started high school.
