This year's experience was very tiring and enriching. I have to admit that in the first semester I could not understand the rationale behind attending school 3 days a week. However, in the second semester the image became clearer. In my second semester, I was no longer a teacher trainee. I was a real teacher. I taught many lessons while my trainer teacher Heba was not in class. Some of them were prepared and others were improvised since I was informed in the morning that she is absent. At the beginning, it was very demanding for me to manage all pupils. Yet, after a very short period of time I started to create my own rules and succeeded to manage all of them.
Moreover, I was always checking with her exams and at some points I felt that I have the responsibility to care about the pupils and their grades. This was due to the three days I attended school where I felt that I am a part and teaching only is not enough. I realized that there is a lot of work as a teacher. That's why I can say that Academic class was that useful. Simply, I began to feel that I am belonging and each and every one in class does matter to me.
Furthermore, I want to say that my trainer teacher, Heba Jabaly, was the most perfect teacher to me. I felt how lucky I am to be with such

I never doubted about my abilities in teaching. The two previous years, I was the one who gets all the compliments from both my trainer teachers and pedagogical advisors. I have many interesting pleasant memories from last year and the year before. For instance, when my trainer teacher last year, Rama Azem, stood up at the end of my lesson and asked the pupils to clap hands to me, and when another trainer teacher, Yasmin Hadi, went to my pedagogical advisor Nassrin Rabi to give her compliments about my performance. Hence, when I attended the school this year I was very confident and at some points felt that as always it will work with me
This semester I also learned how to word rules with right way more and how to be specific with procedures. I made a mock classroom policy about a year ago and after that lesson I made modifications to it. I got excited because it was part of our discipline 2, and I got more feedback on which I need another eye to look at for me. I took the comments and made more to policy and proud of my end product.
I truly felt like my teachers cared and valued my opinion when I interacted with the class and this became just one of the factors that made me follow the decision to become more
I learn that it is most important to focus on children when in the classroom. I relax in my work by clean up in this class. Always be available to support children and maintain an overview of what is happening throughout the program. I’m aware that I can’t leave children unsupervised and can be somewhere that have one of the teacher staff can supervise me and the group. I show initiative to assist the teacher and children during activities or transitions.
, I thought I was going to be far behind the other kids, but I was already committed to all A’s. I was still wondering how hard a class could be, even after I met new friends and nice teachers. Many people told me that honors
For example whenever my teacher is away he leaves me to teach my MMA class in his absence. This class is composed of many different types of people who each learn a little differently and must be taught in their own way. For example a little boy in this class that is around six or seven and has been diagnosed with ODD along with other disorders that make it hard for him to follow instructions and this causes problems with the flow of the class when one student won’t do what the rest of the class is doing. For example when we are warming up before we start to do technique this boy starts to do what the rest of the class is doing but then becomes distracted or starts to believe that he has reached his limits. When this happens I either call the boy up to the front of the class to do the exercises with me encouraging him or if we are working something new I would call one of our veterans to the front to continue demonstrating the move.
By attending Eagle Pass High School, I have the honor to interview my mentor and teacher Mrs. Tanya Tijerina who specialized in teaching Physics Regular/ Pre-AP to 10th, 11th and 12th graders. During the interview I found background information about Mrs. Tijerina, she studied in UTSA and got her BS in Biology, currently, she is doing her Masters in School Council in Sul Ross State University. Since I meet her, I’ve always has the feeling of acceptance in the way she treat her students creating a sense of learning and respect between all the students. Mrs. Tijerina is a teacher that had been teaching for more than 6 years, during the interview that I conducted, I asked Mrs. Tijerina about the positions/job that she held before becoming an educator and how did the position lead to the road as an educator. She answer that before becoming a teacher she held three different jobs and each lead to the road of education, the position that she held were babysitting, clerk at UTSA (advise center) and Re-hab optical Riojas, “They
Each experience has made me continue to grow and constantly learning something new. I have truly enjoyed this English class and know what I have learned will be tremendously
This job really taught me about the importance of children having a routine to follow as well as the impact teachers can have on a child’s life. After my first year in college, I realized that I wanted to gain more experience with children of all ages. Shortly after,
1. Describe the skills or attributes you believe are necessary to be an outstanding teacher. Being an outstanding teacher goes beyond acquiring the competence and knowledge to deliver rigorous academic instruction to a diverse group of students. Outstanding teachers possess a multitude of qualities making them unique and unforgettable to the children they serve. Within my observation of the classroom; I was able to see how the teacher interacted with the students, how gender role played a role within the students, and lastly see the how the students interacted. The first thing I observed and saw was how the teacher interacted with the students as she taught. I noticed that often she did not encourage the students to do better; she would just tell them to re-look at their papers and fix their papers if
My teacher really has my fellow classmates and myself ready for reality. She taught us everything we needed to know from the simplest to the most difficult techniques and has us prepared us for college. From the way she would teach us and also the way she treated us was an excellent way to show how the real life of a college student really does face on a daily bases. I’ll leave the class by having the prior knowledge of knowing what and how to write an argumentative essay and know how to simply justify the reading side and confront my face my fierce. This year taught me so much that I use certain techniques to help me in other subjects.
He must not use this profession to make money because this profession takes the responsibility of many children, who are the future of the country and world. The stress on the teachers must be lessened and they must be provided with appropriate time to systematize their work. Teachers must not be accused for the bad performance of any student as it may be a fault of student’s family or some health problem. Teachers are an important part of our society and they are revered for their hard work and loyalty.
This essay will explained the kind of teacher professional identity promoted by SACE and COTEP under the pillars of curriculum 2005 and NQF forming part of the white paper 1995 in redefining identity and difference in the education system after 1994 and it will also discuss how this identity did not and could not match the realities on the ground. Professionalism is the personal effort to act in a job that reveals fitting attitudes, behaviors and practices of the job. In teaching these attitudes may be: “having specialized knowledge which is the content knowledge and the ability to teach were teachers gain this on a lengthy period of higher education which is a four years to obtain the B ed degree were in the lengthy period teachers in the making learn to focus client interest maintaining a high level of responsibility learning and obtaining the ethical code of conduct” (SAIDE, 2010). By producing good quality results a teacher will be showing professional skills. Professionals require considerable freedom or autonomy to make judgments because they have to draw on knowledge based skills It is also showing that you believe in being professionally autonomous while accountable to the standards of you practice by having professional control over the credentials and the entry to teaching” ( SAIDE, 2010).
Due to indiscipline situation students arrive late for class, are not punctual for the classes or simply bunk classes as the class is not very interesting or rather as a teacher we are unable to create interest in the class .This may be a result of lack of lesson planning .At times effective management of time is also overlooked. Non verbal cues like body language and communication skills also play a major role in making the class effective. Problems of Classroom Management can be overcome by being prepared for class, motivating the students, providing a comfortable learning environment, building students’ self esteem, being creative and imaginative in daily lessons. A teacher should not carry personal problems to the class by being impulsive.
In the first days I got too angry with me if things did not go well, I cried all the first semester I started to be a teacher, it was just I did not feel secure and confident within me and students detect that in a moment, so they made it rough and a challenge that I simply had to master. By the second semester I taught crying stopped, of course I never cried in front of them just at home to myself. The point is for me I started in this business with no prior training after getting out from chemical engineering undergraduate school, so it took me about a whole year to figure it out. Later on by my own I started reading about teaching techniques, and blogs of teachers, and talked to my peers, and made a lot of mistakes on the way, still make them. It is just I learned it by doing it I did not go to a special school for them to show me how to be a teacher.
