After I got home from school, I immediately started on my homework and I did not stop until I was finished. Sometimes it would take me hours to complete my homework, but I did not give up. When it comes to finals, I study until I know all the material that I am supposed to know. I start studying a week in advance to remember everything for each class. I want to get the best grade that I can get so I study as hard as Katie did.
Every week and weekend I usually have practice on Tuesdays, and Thursdays. On those days at school I know that I have to get most of my homework done there because I know that I won’t have enough time when I get home from school to do it before I leave for practice. Also time management has helped me with school work in general. During study hall I know what work I have to do and how much time I need to spend on it so I know that I’ll also have time to do my other work that I may have to do that day.
Do think you could bring it to me as soon as possible? I have math next hour and if I don’t have it my teacher will be really mad.” I said frantically “ Sure honey I’ll bring it. How did you forget it in the first place?” my mom said “Umm… Its a long story…” I replied “So it all started Sunday night when I started watching my favorite show on Netflix. By 12 a.m. I was slowly drifting asleep when suddenly I realized that I still had math homework to finish.
The third step is to set aside time to work on any papers or homeworks for all classes so that I do not feel pressured or rushed. By dedicating at least 1-2 hours per day on the weekends to schoolwork, I can manage my workload without feeling overburdened. The final step is the limit or work around procrastination. If I couldn’t get rid of this habit up until now, it would be near impossible to do so within the next few months. The next best option is to learn how to manage my procrastination so that I can still get work done.
With such a hectic schedule during the season I knew I always had to find time to get my school work done, whether that meant trying to do my homework on the bus rides, stay up late after games to finish projects and online assignments that I couldn't do on the go, staying in the locker room to do my work while my friends went to watch the younger teams play. I learned to make sacrifices to keep my grades up, from losing sleep for studying for a physics exam or staying home on the weekends until I finished all my dual credit assignments that had to be done online. Keeping my spot in the top 5% of my class and achieving a 5.232 GPA out of 5.0 is challenging with being involved in so many clubs and being a student
Another goal is to complete the homework and to turn it in early when possible. I also plan to read and understand each chapter in the college prep book titles “Power Learning” by Robert Feldman. These short term goals lead into my long term goals of passing the chapter tests, final, and the semester. My third period class is Spanish 2 taught by Brenda Altamirano. Spanish is a bit difficult because the language has different tenses and its own alphabet.
One more time, my advocacy teacher is Vietnamese, so I can ask him about the class and where is it. But, I need more time to figure out, so I was late in Math class, and I felt very embarrassment. Even though, I do not understand while my teach speaking, but, I am very confident in Math class. Two periods pass, it was lunchtime. We just sit down on the table without get line to pick up a meal.
The homework I do can last up to 8:30 p.m. Not mentioning that I also have to eat, shower, and iron my school uniform. The last about another hour. After I'm done with everything I watch
Since, I do not find writing interesting this makes me procrastinate. I put the assignment off until the very last minute. Sometimes I second guess myself wondering if I am going to be able to have it done before the deadline, then I think, “I always manage to pull it off.” Since having children, I have become horrible at time management. My evenings are spent with my children and husband. After they go to bed is when I can work on my school assignments.
I am going into the seventh grade and I have a lot of worries. Even though I have been going to Claymont my whole life I still many worries for seventh grade. My first worry for seventh grade is getting a lot of homework. I am afraid to get a lot because I’m afraid I won’t get it all done. I also play volleyball and I have it after school everyday.
I would get actively involved in the activities sponsored by the NHS and will support my peers. I will propose new ideas to my peers and work with them to achieve growth and success in the selected tasks. Another way I could contribute is by spreading the word or doing presentations of the benefits of being a member of the NHS. The National Honor Society
I am truly honored to be considered for being a part of The national honor Society. Being a part of this organization has been a goal for me since I first knew about what it was, and how it does great things for the community. I am inspired when I hear the great actions it national honor Society has done and I hope to be a part of this admirable organization. I feel I am qualified to be a part of this organization because of my dedication and hard work. Every day I follow the same routine.
I have always been interested in a career in the care industry, and after meeting with an experienced occupational therapist, I was sure that occupational therapy is a career suited to my personality and abilities. I am excited by the diverse nature of the work and the effect that meaningful activity can have in helping individuals improve their quality of life and achieve personal goals. I am a sympathetic listener, open-minded and tolerant of others lifestyles and I think that along with my problem-solving skills, and desire to help people, the range of activities which I am skilled at and enjoy would greatly aid me in helping people to rehabilitate themselves. I look forward to attending ________ where I will learn the skills necessary to make a difference by helping people gain independence and increase confidence. I want to be part of such an awarding and diverse career; working closing with people and helping them
Even though time was of the essence, I procrastinated the whole weekend to get the homework done. I still believe that there was no point in getting my homework done earlier because of the fact that good things come to those who wait. It was only a matter of time until I completely knocked out, sleeping like a baby until the sound of my alarm clock woke me
A third example would be to keep your grades in check, and by that I mean you should always turn in your assignments. There are many things to do to be prepared. One of the many things I do to stay prepared is take my books for my next classes to my class before that. Other things I do are that I put my all my books in my locker before my WIN class so I can go straight to lunch. When I put my stuff in my locker before my 1st period I take my
