My Writing Course Reflection

Introduction During this course I’ve learned to make my writing better than it was before. I’ve struggled with my writing since I was very little especially the spelling and grammar parts of it. This course has helped a lot with that, I learned how to use grammar and punctuation better. I liked how you corrected my stuff and I learned to have people double check my work for mistakes so that I can fix them before turning it in or making myself look like a fool. I learned a lot about rhetorical knowledge, knowledge of conventions and critical thinking in reading and writing.
Rhetorical Knowledge Rhetorical knowledge is the ability to analyze and act on understandings of audiences, purposes, and contexts in creating and comprehending texts. It’s something I’m comfortable with and something that I feel like I can convey my feelings more, That’s why I choose what I choose for the project at the end of the course. I choose to write about the issue with transgenders using the bathroom because I feel so strongly about it. Critical Thinking, Reading, and Writing This was one of my favorite parts of this course because it taught me to read more in depth with the story, It taught me to make more sense of the stories. It taught me there is more meaning to stories that what is told on the paper. You have to read in between the lines to get the full affect of things. It also taught me to put more meaning into my writing make it actually mean something. I love to learn the way people are thinking when they are writing. I love to analyze things and make more sense to them. I love learning how other people are thinking when they are writing things and stories.
