Wouldn’t it be nice to earn millions of dollars to play a sport for fun? Being a professional athlete is something almost everybody has dreamed about and only a modest percentage have achieved. Sports are part of everyday life for most people in the country and millions of people idolize the players. Professional athletes are making over and above what they deserve. this money should be given to doctors and the armed forces. People’s salaries should be based on the job’s economic importance and value to society not based on their talent and ability to play a sport.

Are NFL players overpaid? I think that they are because the #1 paid player in 2012 earned $50 million and the top 3 positions that get paid the most are the Quarterback, Offensive line and the Defensive line.

Do Professional Athletes get paid too much? I think Athletes get way overpaid compared to median household income. All these Athletes are getting paid millions of dollars and people in a household make an average to fifty thousand and they work every day.
