NYU is all about getting involved into the community, to get out there and experience and learn on the streets of New York. It has an international outreach and provides learning opportunities for students both in class and outside of it. NYU has this raw New York City attitude, the one that attracted me to the city itself. It has all kinds of clubs and organizations that interest me. I enjoy MUN and seek to deepen my knowledge in international affairs.
Obviously, it possesses great level of academics and awesome classes and professors. Not only that, it also possesses an amazingly diverse student body, filled with people from all over the globe. Furthermore, the environment puts the students at ease, providing a comfortable place where one

As a prospective member of the Masters of Arts in History program at Liberty University I hope to accomplish several things. This includes reaching the goals of earning my master’s degree which will result in a higher level of professional knowledge in my content area, while increasing my income simultaneously. This is not the only positive factor, Liberty’s program will also contribute directly to growth in regards to my relationship with Jesus Christ.
I have worked so hard in school waiting for a moment like this. UNCW would be a great challenge for me, but it would also help me out immensely. UNCW has a excellent education program and that is exactly the field of study I aim to go into. I spent approximately half of my sophomore year at the early college tutoring at Dobson Elementary. I cherished every second helping my fifth grade class.
It is a place where women are empowered as learners and leaders. This is important to me because, where I obtain my education should teach, recognize, and appreciate all women’s skills and abilities. An institution that equips females with the wisdom necessary to compete in today’s job market, allowing them equality in contending . It is also important to me that there is an established legacy. Over 100 years of excellence, pushing the boundaries of the academic experience, and working tirelessly to close the gender gap.
As a child, I was never aware of my family’s financial struggles. My parents divorced when I was 12 and money became the central issue in my life. I found myself worrying about mortgages, health bills, and grocery money at a very young age. As I continued to grow, I vowed to myself that I would not struggle financially the way my parents had to. I want to escape the socioeconomic status I was born into, which is why I am pursuing a post-secondary education.
However there is no denying that Chicago provides an almost movie like, whimsical, adventure filled campus. Museums and theaters are present nearly everywhere in Chicago and the school offers discounts on admission. Public transportation is offered at both campuses, something that is very important to me because I will not have a car on
After exploring SCU, I found that it met both my wants and needs. With its location, 20 minutes from family, in the heart of Silicon Valley with many opportunities for internships, a diverse campus and personal attention from incredible professors, what more could I want?
I am passionate about exploring the unusual, and eclectic , parts of popular culture. NYU was never somewhere I grew up striving for; I had spent so much time thinking that in order to foster my needs as learner, and creator, I needed a "small school. " My preconceived notions of large, and high-achieving academic schools, were completely obliterated as soon as I set foot in Washington Square Park. NYU exemplifies difference, and seemed to embrace every facet of person equally: an extremely diverse campus, an incredible array of clubs and campus-life activities, and individual schools garnering to any students needs.
New York University has always been the school I have pictured myself attending since I was a child. I walk past NYU on my way home from school everyday and I can picture myself being involved in the energetic atmosphere that the school provides. NYU is a school which I believe will challenge me both academically and socially to help me become the best version of myself that I can be. The types of people which NYU help to educate are nothing short of spectacular both as people and in their fields.
The heart of New York City is New York University. By joining the network of NYU, I will be able to study at an institution that has a long tradition of academic excellence among private universities in the United States. Additionally, I will be able to be part of an internationally recognized learning network with locations all across the globe. It would be a pleasure to study at a globally recognized university. A friend of mine who is a recent graduate from NYU College of Nursing has praised the program and conveyed to me a very positive experience.
I am most attracted to Loma Linda University’s mission to make man whole and continue the teaching and healing ministry of Jesus Christ and its commitment to faith and science. As a Seventh-day Adventist christian, the motto to make man whole has never been more personal than it is now. As I grow in my experience as a christian, to further the teaching and healing ministry of Jesus continues to take center stage. This mission and an understanding of the need for whole person care is something I seek to demonstrate and encourage through my profession as a nurse and involvement in my community.
Thank you for taking the time to consider my application for the doctoral program at Florida Atlantic University. My interest in education began at a young age out of necessity. My upbringing was humble, and I was fortunate to have a healthy environment conducive to my education. However, that was the extent of my parents’ support.
I have always retained a keen passion in learning about medicine and dreamed about becoming a pediatrician. As I learned more about NYU, I fell more in love with the university, aspiring to one day step into the halls of the school and make my mark. I believe it was the perfect place for me to start my pre-medical studies into one day becoming a doctor. When I first ventured in and around NYU in New York City, my eyes sparkled at the marvel of the campus. It is not one's typical campus.
I’ve always wanted to live in the city, and going to NYU has the advantage over west coast cities since I would be close to my family. The summers of my younger years were spent with my grandparents in New York City. I remember looking out at awe as I rode the subway across the Manhattan bridge. During the school year, my family would often go on the weekends from our home in New Jersey into Manhattan to have some dim sum and go shopping. Of course, the city also has practical features.
Attending Notre Dame excites me because of the school’s rich history and prestige. Travelling to a university where the only person I know is a friend’s ex-boyfriend is scary, but I know I am prepared for this step in my life. Notre Dame is different than other schools because of its Catholic heritage. While I am not catholic, I have attended mass before and have this sector of Christianity to very beautiful and I have developed a great appreciation for it.
