Medicine is a human miracle on earth. It never fails to baffle my mind as how it can transform an ailing person to a healthy one. I observed my mother with a brain tumor. It was depressing but thanks to science and medicine our lives have completely changed. Medicine has the power to save lives and change this world. This powerful and miraculous side of medicine influenced me to become a physician. NYU’s exemplary research institutions with their outstanding researchers and faculty will open many opportunities and aid me in saving lives by discovering cures for illnesses; thus, making a difference in this world.
