The American Revolution had a lot of causes leading up to writing the Declaration of Independence. There were many causes leading up to this but some important ones are taxes, the battles, and the 1st and 2nd Continental Congress. Taxes were a big cause in the American Revolution.
During the time period of the late eighteenth century the United States were seeking a new governing platform that would support the ideals present in the American Revolution. Principles such as freedom, independence and natural rights were among the driving forces in shaping the constitution. Throughout the creation of the document many disputes occurred, the Federalists wanted a strong central government with unchallenged authority while the Anti Federalists fought for personal freedoms and decisions to be made at a state level. Correspondingly once the Constitution was completed The Anti Federalist opposed to it. They complained that the new system threatened liberties, and failed to protect individual rights in addition to their claim

This was somewhat a familiar name to most if not all of the French people. Louis-Napoleon happened to be the nephew of France's long reigning man of destiny, Napoleon Bonaparte.
Prior to the American Revolution, the American People were under the rule of the British government. Due to the mistreatment, the Americans wanted to rebel and become free of British rule. In order to do so, they partook in the event of the American Revolution. During the American Revolution, there were many smaller battles and war within the overall war to achieve freedom. For Instance, the first battle was the Battle of Lexington and Concord.
During the time, Napoleon was actually an ally to Alexander I, the current leader in Russia. Many arguments arose between the two countries, specifically over Russian trading and they were both competing over Poland. Napoleon decided that the only way to put Russia in their place would be to attack. Napoleon marched his numerous army into Russia, unaware of what he had gotten himself into. Napoleon had gone into Russia without background knowledge of what he was truly up against.
Due to numerous conflicts that Great Britain and America had, had with each other; American had finally decided to attempt to declare independence from Great Britain. With all the laws and (several) acts trying to be passed through congress that had caused Americans to become exasperated with Great Britain. America felt that Great Britain did not really have their best interest in mind. Not a single one of these laws were not in thee American’s favor. American’s had finally decided to enough was enough.

The American Revolution was brought to fruition after multiple acts proposed by the British Empire on the Colonies in the New World. There were many acts that lead up to the colonists wanting to become independent, the two most influential were known as the Stamp Act and the Intolerable Acts. The Stamp Act was the first direct tax on the colonies to reprimand the cost of the French and Indian War.

During the years of 1754-1763 the French and Indian War was a war between the British Empire and their Native allies and the French Empire and their Native allies.
Overall, it is highly considered that America was the winner of the American Revolution. Although the American Revolution may have been considered a success for enslaved Americans and patriots, other groups in America were negatively impacted by the war. Groups that were impacted negatively consisted of the Loyalists, Women, and Native Americans. This shows that America as a whole was not positively impacted by the American Revolution, as many groups were left in poor statuses. The Loyalists were allies and followers of the British Crown during the American Revolution.

The war was fought between the thirteen colonies and the empire of King George III. Disputes between the crown and the colonies began in 1763, shortly after the Seven Years War. Great Britain found itself greatly in debt after turned to the colonies for funding. Although a push for independence was inevitable, there were many key factors that expedited hostilities between the two nations.
The American Revolution was a major turning point in American society due to the political, social and economic reforms instigated after they gained their independence. After breaking away from their mother country, Britain, the Americans formed their ideal society in which the people held more power than the government. During this time women and slaves experienced more freedom within society. Women were allowed to serve in war and many slaves were set free. Because the United States was a new nation who just gained independence, they were still struggling to pay back the war debt thus there were less economic reforms than social and political.
Following the Reign of Terror, France was ruled by a corrupt five-man governing body called the Directory, which was overthrown by Napoleon Bonaparte through a coup d’état. Napoleon, a military general, rose to power through a series of military conquests and eventually became the First Consul of the French Republic. The French people viewed Napoleon favorably, as his military and political genius would likely lead to the creation of a prosperous and united France. Moreover, they believed that he would uphold the ideas they had fought for during the French Revolution: liberty, equality, and fraternity. Napoléon saw himself as a Roman Emperor (such as Augustin and Constantine), and Paris was his Roman Empire that he seeks to match or make better. The Roman empire was an example of achievement. A nation that was invincible in war, it held characteristic of being a society that was well governed and produces great art and literature. The Romans were an inspiration to Napoleon’s rule over France that he seeks to prototype it after the Romans government and its empire.
