Personal Narrative Draft 5: In this story I will be talking about the amazing water ride in Universal studios, Singapore. I still remember till this day, how many times I rode that ride. For last 7 years we have been going to a lot of amusement parks like 6 Flags, Disneyland, MGM Studio, Lego Land, Epcot Center, Etc. When me, my mom, my dad, and my sister jumped in the car, I was as ready as can be. I was very excited when I read the map of Universal Studio. All of a sudden I became greedy and wanted to go to the Harry Potter ride, Transformer ride, Indiana Jones ride, Star wars ride, etc. While we did all the rides, me and my Mom were doing some of the scary rides, while my dad and my sister were doing some kid rides. My whole family continues …show more content…
We get the first seats!!!!”, I whooped. When we went on the raft, I was pumped. This raft was huge and I was going down a mountain of water!!! Ready to go, I thought. I made it a point that I HAVE to be in the first seats. Me and my Dad rushed but still couldn 't get to the first seat. But still, our goal was the first seat. We quickly ran to the manager of the ride and asked him for the first seats. Luckily the people in the first seats had a child who was too small to ride so we were given the front seats. I was so ready to go down huge slides. When we were slowly moving some people started booing. Then I heard some mumbling. I didn’t hear very much but I am pretty sure they mumbled, “ This ride sucks. There was no point waiting so long”. “Dad??? How long will is this going to take??? ”, I announced trying to show off like I was getting bored too. “I don’t know son”, my dad replied. All we did was wait until, “AHHHHHHHHHH”, everyone in the crate yelled. It was a huge drop that went down like a thousand feet. Then we went into the dark. “Wow!!! Is this the end?”, I thought. Well, I was definitely wrong. Once again, “AHHHHHHHHHH”, we yelled as we dropped once again. After several more small slides, we came to the BIG DADDY. It took around at least 4 minutes to go up the …show more content…
No reply. I guess he was ready for the HUGE fall that was coming. Then we got to see how far down it is. When I saw how far down the fall was I almost had a heart attack!!! Well, there is no turning back now, I thought. It was higher than any of the huge water slides I have ever seen. And then we fell. We went down so fast we couldn 't even scream!!!! In the video we could only see our mouths open and eyes wide. Plus we were soaking!!!! “Wicked Dad!!. Let 's go again!!!!!”, I whooped. I kept on insisting to my dad that we go on this epic ride again and again. Usually he would have a stomach ache or something. Fortunately, he replied with a yes!!!! We dashed off like a rocket to get my mom and my sister and we went again and it was a blast. My Dad figured out that there was a fast pass. I was going so crazy, he decided he will pay 50$ for a Fast Pass so we do not have to wait in line for another 3 hours. From this day on, whenever my mom and dad say, “Kids, where do you wanna go this summer”, me and my sister say, UNIVERSAL STUDIOS!!!!! I chose to write this story because this was a great time for me. I loved how there were many falls and how time flew while we were waiting in line. This is very important to me because many of the water rides that I have been to are very short and boring, but this one, this one blows your
When we got on the ride we saw an old friend and he had fake money and through it of the ride it was funny because he got in trouble and couldn’t ride anymore. We went back on the zipper and those
To compare and contrast two memorable moments in my life is a difficult challenge for me. I have decided to choose my trips to Disney World and Universal. While both of these magnificent, magical places are located 8.5 miles from each other they are fairly similar and enormously different. Disneyworld is located in Florida, more precisely Kissimmee, but since it’s a suburb of Orlando, most people just say it’s in Orlando.
As we walked inside the dirty, salt stench, of a theme park, My sister started going nuts wanting to ride everything. My parents told her to wait a minute while they got themselves situated. Finally the part of the trip I was dreading the most, the part where I had to go ride the blue streak. The line wasn 't too long so we decided to go. I sat in the car with my sister, which by the way was a little bigger then me, so the bar that came across our lap only went up to my stomach.
Over the summer I traveled to Tennessee to see my cousins. The day we arrived, we visited Lake Winnie, an amusement park with tons of rides with a water park. It was a joyful day. That day I went on the first roller coaster I 've ever been on. While walking nervously up the steps to get into line with my cousin, I felt the adrenaline rushing through my body, and I felt very anxious.
He shuffled to the front, gave his ticket to an elderly woman, and infiltrated the park. His heart raced as his eyes grew, taking everything from the children standing in lines to the children flying upside down. He felt the adrenaline hit him like a brick wall. This was it. This was the moment he had waited for.
My family talked so much about how they loved the ginormous roller coasters. When I was little, the thought of heights raises an alarm, I still catch a funny feeling in my stomach when I look at how high the contraptions are. I had to tell myself multiple times that I've done it before and I could do it again. It began when I walked into the park and my eyes
It was my first time ever visiting Disneyland. While we were waiting for the ferry my stomach felt like it was was upside down. I felt sick. I had never had a feeling like this. It was the most exciting moment of my entire life.
Everyone was so excited except for me. We went to a roller coaster. I told my mom that I was scared but she told me to try it and I did. And now I’m not scared of roller coasters anymore.
My palms were sweating. My heart was beating fast and furiously. This was it. My very first upside-down roller coaster ride at age nine in Hershey Park. The Sooper Dooper Looper was so intimidating.
Also,we went to the restroom, bought some food passes got and some maps. Then it was the fun part, so I thought. What we didn’t realize is that the line for the Top Thrill Dragster was 2 ½ hours! Therefor, my mom left the line at about two hours into it. But my dad, sister and I fought through the burning sun and heat.
The time had come for our annual band trip. The band was on its way to encounter many fun attractions. The event I was most ecstatic for was Six Flags! The day we visited Six Flags I walked around with five of my friends and my girlfriend. We spent the whole day riding the park’s fantastic rides.
We saw Mickey and Minnie, and Donald and Daisy. The day was filled with riding all sorts of fun rides. When it was
One of the things in my life that have challenged me is my first time on a roller coaster. It all started when one summer we decided we were going to go on vacation to Salt Lake City. We would try and find an amusement park to go to. We found one named Lagoon. We got there and they had a lot of roller coasters.
When the ride started I had enormous, nervous smile on my face and a shaking Chihuahua bodie. As there my siaster and baby siter where the all fine. The ride started out not to bad, but when we made the first turn, all I
We fell and then we felt the cool splash of water hit us. It was so fun! We did about 20 more times after that and my parent had to force us to come back to the boat so we could go home. We crashed again when we got home dreaming about the bigger cliffs we could find
