Family, everyone has one no matter the size. Some families are small, other overly huge, some are broken, and some come together. A family will always be there for one another even if you don’t want them to be, but sometimes they are taken from us to early. You don’t realize how much you love something until it’s gone. It was just another day. September 12, 2017, just like every other day. I woke up, ate breakfast, then got ready for school. The usual teenage morning routine. I got dressed, did my hair, makeup, and packed my book bag. I left my house at 7:55 like I do every day so I would be at school on time. I dressed up a little nicer than usual because I had a home volleyball game at 5:30 that night. I parked my car and went to school. …show more content…
I ran out of Speech class to my locker. At my locker stood Hallie Frohn. “Ready to go get some food?” she asked. I was ready to get out of there, it had been a long day and I really needed some food. I packed my bag and walked out with Hallie. We did our normal pre-game snack run. We drove to Kwik Star grabbed a sandwich, something to drink, and some gummy bears. I got my usual chicken sandwich with a chocolate milk. Hallie, always gracious, bought my food for me. I always told her that I had my own money, but she insisted. After she paid we got back in her car and headed back to the high school. We had to help line judge the freshman and sophomore volleyball games. By the time I finished eating my sandwich the New Hampton volleyball team was here. That meant that I had to line judge. Line judging is a simple yet tricky task that I always seemed to screw up. I would get into the game too much to watch where the volleyball really hit the floor. But each JV and Varsity player had to line judge at least one game, so I had to step up and do my part. The sophomore games went back and forth. Either New Hampton was in the lead or we were. It was very stressful for me to watch, but I had to keep calm. The first game eventually ended and my “shift” was
No One There… As much as we may argue, fuss, and fight, we need them. They are our biggest supporters when we are doing well, yet are also there when we need a shoulder to cry on. These are just a few of the millions of things that they provide to us and explains why family is essential to a happy life. Now imagine if they weren’t there. Imagine if you felt you were all alone and had no one to comfort and motivate you to do better in life.
After a while I loosened up, and the fact that we were up so high slipped from my mind, again. For the rest of the game, I had fun. I talked and laughed with my family and shared popcorn. It didn’t really matter that I had missed most of it, I don’t really think anyone was watching anyway.
She said, “Would you like to go with us to Carowinds Barbaree?” I said yes of course! “Make sure you take off from work.” She told me to start saving my money and we will go two weekends from now. We went June 22nd on a hot Saturday morning, around 10:00.
They were smiling at me, hoping that I would stay in for the rest of the game. That’s when power ran through me, smiles started to appear on my face. And that’s when I knew I was going to play the rest of the game ,and I was going to play the rest of the tournament. Even if my arm ached. When I looked at my coach she gave me a thumbs up ,and I gave her a happy thumbs up back.
During the entire match I had no idea what was happening. I didn’t know which side of the scoreboard was mine, so I didn’t know if I was winning or losing. Since we were in a tournament, there were numerous whistles that were going off during my match. During the match, it was very loud, which made it hard to hear my coach. I also didn’t have any idea what period we were in.
We started to play, but the people from Franklin that were in the crowd were so annoying they were really trying to mess us up. I wasn 't going to listen to them because I was so proud of us to make it to the championships. When I got up there to the server 's position I started getting nervous that I would hit it to high. I could hear my coach in the background saying “just breathe Bella you 've got this we 've worked on it your good.” My hand got a little lower as I swung and hit the ball up in the air it went over without touching the ceiling I was so proud of myself then as we played longer and longer the games were closer and closer in score, we won two and they won two, so this last one whoever won wins, we were really close and had to go over 25 points because we kept getting a point when they were at 25 but you have to be 2 points
It was 7:05am on a Thursday morning, when I had woken. I lied down in my bed gazing at the ceiling as my obnoxious alarmed screamed at me to get up and prepare for another day of school. I was beyond exhausted. It was November 17th. Thanksgiving break was just around the corner waiting for me to relax and get my mind off the prison we call school.
After that, we would go to our room. Then our parents thought we should get pizza, so they ordered pizza. After the pizza got there, we would eat and watch baseball games.
All I did while my eyes were closed was imagining the game. I saw myself scoring the final goal to win the game. The crowd went wild and so did my team. My coach and teammates ran out to the field to tackle me. They were so happy and so was
Then I went back to picking out what I was going to wear. I ended up with a white shirt and some jean shorts. Right when I was about to get in the shower, there was a knock at the door. Who could be here this early? It couldn’t be daddy because he was at work.
I flew out of bed and put on my uniform. We were at the field around 8 a.m. the reason why we had to be there so early was because I had 3 games! We won both the first and second game. I didn’t get out once. It was time for the third game.
I was worried, just thinking about how I would mess up and ruin the show for everybody. The game finished. It was time to march out on the field in front of the 2,000 people sitting in the stands. I had never performed in front of that many people. I marched the first nineteen sets, or positions on the field, perfectly and I started to pride myself.
I went to take a nice warm shower. After that i went straight to my room to sleep. But really quick before this story ends i 'm going to tell you something 's. I was the youngest and on my team. I was on a team of my sister and her friends.
The first game is at 9:00 which was really early in the morning for me so we went to bed early on Friday to get some rest. I was restless in my bed and could only think about the tournament ahead of me. I was up for a while just thinking about what would happen over the weekend. We got up early the next day, ate our breakfast, and went to the fields. The breakfast before the game was was plain because as I ate I did not really tastes the food, I just put it in my mouth and chewed it.
It all started on a summer day, I went to nags head beach with my family. We got a big beach house with my whole family and a few friends. This was about 4 years but it feels like it was just the other day. We went at the very end of the summer. It was still nice and warm outside.
