My First Wrestling Match There were about two weeks before my first wrestling match. After a tough practice, I went to check my weight like everyone else does, and my heart sunk as I realize that I am six pounds over my weight class. The weight class I am wrestling in is one hundred and thirteen pounds, but I weigh one hundred and nineteen. I was very nervous that my coach would find out and be displeased with me. I began to worry because being six pounds over meant that I could only eat a little bit each day, and work extra to lose all of the weight.
When I was in 4th grade, I had a big game. It was the soccer game. In one day we had about 20 games, and each game was 10 to 15 minutes. When the tournament ended, I cried. When I came home with my mom when the game ended, I was still crying.
The day of the competition, I awoke at 3:00 AM with a sore throat and chills. My neck throbbed painfully and my body shook. I reached for the phone to call my coach, but before I could dial, I realized that as one of the most experienced debaters, my teammates were looking to me for guidance. It was the first time debating for several students, and if I did not go, they would be even more nervous. So with an achy, trembling body, I put on my suit, tied my lucky green tie, and headed to the
In regard to this question, it is clear that fans of “Barcelona” will favor Messi since he is a part of this club. However, the fans of “Manchester United” and “Real Madrid” would prefer Cristiano Ronaldo because of his football career in these clubs. Despite high results reached by both of these football players, many journalists, commentators, and ordinary fans compared these geniuses of the modern football, to decide who plays better (Chadwick & Burton, 2008). This appeared to be complicated, since their playing styles vary and their clubs are arch-rivals.
I realized this severe pain shooting down my spine, I steadily took ibuprofen and other over the counter medicines hoping it would slowly go away over time. It didn’t seem at the time that it was something unusual or out of the ordinary. Finally, my mom picked me up we went and grabbed something to eat, then headed on our 30 minute trip home. I sat in the middle of the
Our team had no faith in ourselves. We knew something had to be done. As our opponents attempted a possible score, our goalie prevented the goal, but injured himself with 10 minutes remaining on the clock. I pulled up my socks, fastened my shin guards, and went onto the field to substitute for my team’s left forward. About an hour and a half ago, my competitive soccer team in Milpitas was heading to our last game in Bakers Field, California.
Lying awake last night, I realized that losing my voice was the worst. To make matters worse, it had to happen 3 days before my audition for a musical. All of this happened because of me over practicing my voice. Praticiting all day was probably not the best idea. The doctor said that my voice went out because I spend too much time practicing and eventually my throat got sore.
Soccer, the most popular sport in the world, surpasses others by a great margin. Called football everywhere except for America, in which it is called soccer due to American football. For this essay, I will call it soccer. Around the world exist clubs and organizations of the best players, such as: Messi, Ronaldo, Neymar, Bale, Neuer, and many others. The sport gains popularity because of the cheapness and easiness to start, but hard to master.
Back in 2007, I was introduced to my first video game and it Madden 2007 on the Wii but this was also the year my parents got divorced in late August. I remember before they got divorced I would be down there for hours playing as the New England Patriots and I would always pick the computer to play as the Miami Dolphins because they were the worst rated team on that game. When I would be down there I would remember always running the ball and scoring a lot of touchdowns, I would be down there for hours alone just enjoying my free time. The TV would sometimes go black so you would have to hit the side so that the TV could show the game again, this is something I would not forget even to this day 11 years later.
The movie hinted at it, but the Bissinger dedicated almost two chapters on it. It was said that the stadium could fit almost 20,000 people. The book is vocal about the preference of the football players. It describes how the team’s SAT scores were terrible, but not many people seemed to mind including parents. James Miles writing teacher even said ‘football is all a kid like [Miles] has going for him (Bissinger).’
Anytime I have some free time I turn on my Wii and slip in Zumba and I 'm ready to go burn some more calories and let 's not forget have fun while doing so. Be prepared to take lots of showers after playing this game because you will definitely be sweating buckets but it 's worth it. I have been playing Zumba Fitness Wii for 2 weeks now and I can definitely see the results and others have asked me what I am doing because I look great. I 'm not the type of person that is big on scales
All throughout practice and after practice the racing hadn’t seemed to stop. I even had chest pains, weakness in my extremities and cold sweats. I spoke to both of my uncles, who are doctors, about the incident and they blew it off as dehydration or anxiety attacks. I continued to attend and participate in practice for about another three months while experiencing the same symptoms.
I felt refreshed and a little punchy. I went to wake my brother, he is 3 years older than me. It’s always funny to wake up a sixteen year old, especially Chuck, who stays up every night until 2 o’clock in the morning texting the love of his life, well the new love of his life, Bunny. After harassing Chuck for a few minutes, trying to get him out of bed, I decided I needed to take Pepper out for her morning run. You know Yorkies need their
Post Concussion Syndrome caused me to have terrible headaches every day for eleven months, and during this time I was taking about five Advil a day. I went to the doctor complaining of stomach problems, and it turned out that the amount of Advil I had taken had dissolved almost half of my stomach lining. With this problem, it was almost impossible for me to keep down food, so I ended up losing about fifteen pounds. I still think about that day every once in awhile and get upset, but I’ve tried to not let it affect my life more than it really
