I had to make several pickups before meeting Detroit Jeff, who then briefed me on how the California shipment was coming along. Jeff said he had heard from the guys, and they would not be back until next week. I asked if the police were investigating the hit-and-run. Nobody seemed to know anything. I left my meeting with Jeff and headed over to make a drop to some people from the 82nd.
Moving Truck Moving truck. What does that mean? I view moving trucks as a symbol for me, who I am as a person. Since my dad is in the military, moving has been a big part of my life since I was born. I’ve moved a total of 8 times now (more or less), and with all of that moving experience, I view moving in a variety of ways.

As Evan sped away from Buffalo Jack’s, hitting the highway and accelerating to nearly a hundred miles per hour, Liam could be heard peevishly whimpering to himself in his mother’s arms while Angela stared straight ahead, locked in a somnambulistic state. Four miles down the road the Geneva Turnpike turned into Route 20 and the Pontiac cruised west out of Canandaigua. As they passed a Peterbilt, its driver laid on his air horn upset over Evan’s reckless speed, the sound jolting Angela out of her hypnosis. “Evan, who was that guy back there?” she asked, but Evan remained stolid and white-knuckled on the steering wheel.
On May 21, 2015, I bought a brand new Dodge Ram off the lot. It happened to be the first thing that caught my eye, and it was love at first sight. It was just that one of a kind, beautiful slate blue that I don’t see very often. It had big “muddin” tires, a three and a half inch lift kit, and the big, stout cattle guard on the front. I knew that it would go through anything I wanted it to.

Everyone remembers what it was like to turn 16 and go behind the wheel of a car for the first time. This process was rather stressful for me. Driving on the road for the first time was my “Everest.” It was my goal to drive by myself but I was very scared to do it. My biggest fear was losing control of the car and getting into an accident.
I first attempted to drive when I was 14 years old it started at empty parking lots and slowly progressed to streets. I was super eager to get behind the wheel because I thought that once I learned to drive I would finally be free. But as soon as we got out the empty parking lots and moved onto streets with actual traffic I panicked. And I sadly discovered that driving wasn’t for me and that I was a bad driver. I wanted to start driving because I thought it was so cool to be able to drive back then when we were all starting to learn.
