A friend of my dads called me asking me if I wanted to go to the Minnesota Vikings game with him that weekend. I didn 't know what my parents were gonna say when I asked them about it. I asked them and they said that I could go. I told my dads friend that my parents had said I could go. A few days passed and it was Sunday, the day of the Vikings game. I texted my dads friend right away in the morning asking him when he was gonna pick up. He told me to be ready in an hour witch would have been seven a.m. I got ready to go and by the time he got to my house I was just finishing taking care of my dogs. I finished taking care of dogs and got into his truck. From there we headed straight to the Vikings game and I was pumped for it. On the way there …show more content…
As it got closer to game time the stadium just kept getting louder. As the game was close to starting both teams were back in their locker rooms. As both teams left the field I started to eat my pretzel and it was extremely salty tasting so I had to scrape off the salt and eat it that way and it tasted pretty good. I then ate the hotdog and it might have had been better than a baseball game hotdog, the ketchup made it taste as good as it did. A few minutes after I finished the hotdog the Lions came running out of their locker room onto the field. Everyone was booing pretty loud. Then a moment late it came time for the Vikings to come out. They had the cheerleaders in a line and two boxed shaped things at the end that shot off flames when the announcer announced that the Vikings were coming out. When the flames shot up the stadium got warm within an instance. The Vikings came running on the field and the stadium was louder then I could imagine. Once the entire offense and all the backups ran onto the field the defense was introduced. One at a time the defensive players came out after having their name said and position. Just as they 'd reach the area of where the boxed shaped things a flame would come up and warm the stadium for a quick
Let me tell you how the the Minnesota Vikings football team made it to the playoffs after starting the season 0-4 and then winning the rest of their games and win the NFC North. When some of their players were 3 years old they could tackle a 300 pound lineman, or even throw a ball so fast it started a fire. When they got their first win it was with an offensive line that was all rookies and Sam Bradford with his first year with the Minnesota Vikings. When the Vikings played their first playoff game they had to tackle 300 foot tall giants that weighed more than 1,000 pounds. They also had to deal with blocking 500-foot tall giants that weighed more than 2,000 pounds.
As Donie O'Sullivan, from CNN news, states, "At the first NFL football game, in London's Wembley stadium, numbers of Jaguars and the Ravens took a knee during the anthem. " O'Sullivan also states, "Pittsburg Steelers roster stayed in their locker room during the national anthem." Another article about this topic is by Ryan Wilson. Ryan Wilson, of CBS Sports, states, "The Baltimore Ravens stood for the national anthem but kneeled beforehand to say a prayer. Many Baltimore fans booed the team as they came together in prayer."
When you walk into the red and blue dome the unique, sweaty smell of the stadium and the roaring sounds of the crowd for some reason, seemed to made you even more excited. It only
We put our bags with our gear in them by the place they told us to. I saw my whole team in there waiting for the rest of my team. I saw my best friend Christian at the time he played for the bison. My tickets were in what I call nosebleeds also called {High Seats} I could barely see the puck. 13:00 min into the game the rage score!!!!
This weekend we get to watch a Detroit Lions game! We’re driving down to the West branch to spend some time with our friends. I can’t wait it’s going to be so much fun! My family traveled down near West Branch where we stayed for the weekend with our friends, Brent, Ronda, and their son Brendan.
My church plays in the Turkey Bowl Flag Football Tournament every November. This was not only a time to bond with my youth group, but to also create friendships with other church teams. However, there was a problem: my team consisted of players from age 13-20; however, the 13 year olds had little-to-no flag football experience. Consequently, they got less playtime and slowly became discouraged However, as a leader I wanted to show them otherwise: I coached them, helped them, and give them a new perspective on the game.
Thousands of people are waiting. Thousands of people are wearing jerseys and talking about their favorite football team, the Green Bay Packers. My family was part of the thousands on August 8, 2015. We had joined one of the many parties where people were excitedly waiting for Family Night at the Green Bay Packers Stadium. I really didn’t care about football at all, but I was still excited to go and watch with my family.
Alec Michaud Mr. Bergmann Sophomore Honors English II P6 10 October 2016 Lambeau Field, a Mark on History The ground below is rattling to the thunderous beat of rambunctious spectators with the anticipation of the battle that is set to be fought on this very field! The senseless chaos ceases as a loud roar erupts from the stands as the Green Bay Packers emerge from the tunnel. “With 13 super bowl rings and 53 postseason appearances it’s easy to say that Green Bay is one of the most dominant teams in the NFL” (Packers team Records). The iconic team has many notable attributes that set them apart, but one of the most recognizable is there historic stadium, Lambeau Field.
Have you ever watched the Super Bowl on TV and see that there are so many people filling the seats at the stadium? Well, let me just tell you that for the record, the game was not a very packed area because it did not oversell. The officials were expecting more than 94,000. The actual game had about
We left because my dad wanted to, and right as we left Denard Robinson the QB scored a touchdown and they won. After the game we went back to Michigan state campus because it was so far from my house and it was dinnertime. We went to buffalo wild wings and got the 50 basket of wings.
Everyone 's at least broken a bone or injured themselves before right? Well this is one of those tragic stories where I unfortunately injured myself. It all started way back in the 5th grade and all my friends and family know I love & play the game of baseball. The baseball season for the little league I play for is about to begin in about 1-2 weeks.
For a young baseball player one of the highest goals to achieve is hitting a homerun -for me that was all I wanted. I already achieved most of what I wanted in baseball, and one of my proudest was a no-hitter, but it was no home run. When I first realized how bad I wanted this feat was one night after a practice where all we did was just hit. The majority of my teammates hit at least one homerun that practice, but me I hit the fence but never was able to send one over. The car ride home after the practice was horrible, I was a mess.
We woke up full of energy and ate breakfast. My mom had a few more things to pack up. We had to wait for her in the car. As soon as my mom came my dad turned the car on and we started the trip. The roads were very slippery
The first time on a football field and i was very hyped about it cause i got to play and the coach put me as starter because i was the biggest one on the field. The very first play we got sacked but are left lineman didn't stop the ball they got pushed over and we got sacked. The ball was on the 25 yard line and we were trying to get to the fifteen yard line to get the first down and we were short 10 yards but we could still get cause if we work hard you play hard.
Around the years 800 A.D. Scandinavians left their homes in search for a better life elsewhere in large numbers. They were soon known as the famous Vikings or Norsemen (Northmen). Over a few centuries these men were known as killers, pirates, ruthless, raiders, traders, and finally settled in much of the European and British continent. The Vikings were not same people and all came from different lands and so called uncivilized places so they were uncivilized people.
