The chocolate Amaryntha 's mom made, turned out to be cold. Amaryntha took the cup in her hands and warmed it up again, trying to do it without her mother seeing it -which didn 't happen. Amaryntha her mother gave her a stern look, the twelve year old girl only nodded, stating she understood what her mom tried to say.

Amaryntha was forbidden to actually use her elements in front of her brother, Lennan was the exception of the family and couldn 't control the element fire at all. It frustrated him when he saw how someone else of the family could control fire and he couldn 't, which his three year older sister, Amaryntha, understood of course.

Amaryntha lived with her family in Lustro, where all the people who controlled fire lived. The rulers of water lived in Meio, while the Kingdom of earth was located in Liro. The people of Sinuo controlled the element wind.

Amaryntha grew up practicing the element fire. She learned already a lot about it, Amaryntha knew how to make cold things back hot, she could also make a small wall of fire to protect herself, yet protecting herself wasn 't needed in the country of Montulem. Lennan, on the other hand, was born without the talent of controlling the element. Nobody could give an explanation why, Lennan was just a simple boy.

Amaryntha and Lennan they 'd mother walked back into the living, placing herself in between her twelve year old daughter and fifteen year old son. She stretched her arms out and laid it on both of their shoulders, caring they cuddled each by their mother 's side. "You can 't do that, you can 't leave us," the twelve year old cried. "We don 't even know what 's happening."

"Protect your sister at all costs, Lennan," said Inese with a stern voice at her son. "Just go."

Lennan only nodded, he was always the one who immediately obliged if their parents said something. He grabbed his sister, just like their mom did before, and dragged her down the stairs. He closed the door behind him. "Hurry up, Amaryntha," said Lennan, pushing her to the wall Inese directed her. "We don 't have much time."

"Do you know what 's going on?" Amaryntha asked, trying to understand the situation.

"I don 't," said Lennan, screaming. "Just hurry up. We need to do what mom told us to do, then we can talk."

Amaryntha only nodded now, too shocked to even talk against her brother. Normally, she would 've done it. Amaryntha was known to have a truly stubborn personality, once again something she inherited from her mother. Amaryntha placed her hand on the located stone. Lennan grabbed his sister again, making sure she took a step backwards.

Not even a second later, the wall circled to the side, leaving the siblings in awe. They never knew they had a secret room, when the room was completely opened Lennan pushed his sister inside. When he also walked in the room, the wall closed
