I have led many club activities such as concession stands, volunteer services, and other community led activities. I have become a great leader to many of these kids as president of our school club, S-Club. I am in very good standing academically and known for my exceptional work ethic. I have matured with each of the trials and events I have encountered that have come my way during my senior year. The skills I have gained over the course of the year will help me towards my main career goal in mind, professional.
I am extremely honored to be considered for the National Technical Honor Society. I have been looking forward to this moment for two years now. I strongly believe I would be a good candidate for NTHS because, I am a dedicated hardworking student who strives to be the best I can be. I am truly honored to be one of the many outstanding students at Seminole High School who are being considered for admission into our chapter of the National Honor Society. I feel that I fulfill the expectations of the Society because I exemplify scholarship, leadership, service, and character in both our school and our community. However, the pillar that I feel that I represent best is service. After more than 130 hours volunteering, I feel that I can truly grasp what service means to our community, and how that service exemplifies one of the pillars of the National Honor Society.
Leadership, a drive to serve, and a strong character are crucial aspects of those who wish to live successful and prosperous lives, and unsurprisingly, are desirable traits for those in National Honor Society. Leadership is the ability to motivate, inspire, and guide others in forming a favorable outcome. Instances that I have exhibited leadership include being the captain for two years in a row for Black History Quiz Bowl and being both a counselor and teacher at a 4-H summer camp. The ability to serve helps bring out a person’s humility, selflessness, and deeper understanding of how the world interacts. Character is a culmination of traits that make up a well-rounded person, such as being altruistic or possessing comradeship.
I understand that to qualify for National Honor Society you have to be strong in academics. I have worked hard to be where I am today. I've been on the gold honor roll every semester. I enjoy school and I'm blessed that I have the opportunity to attend such a great

The National Honor Society is a top-notch group that many want to be part of, but for all of the wrong reasons. There are many traits one needs to successfully participate in the group; Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character.
