One of my dreams is to be part of The National Honors Society and be part of the family; I am already part of The Spanish Language Honors Society and want to further build upon my academic career. I have demonstrated leadership, service, character, and scholarship and I hope to be inducted into the society. Even after I get inducted into the society, I will continue to volunteer in my society; as of this summer, I hope to be volunteering at Atlanticare. Volunteering in my community has been a great experience and I can not wait to extend it with a new chapter of my High School career. The National Honors Society is an organization consisting of outstanding students across the nation, and I am truly honored to be considered to join. Not only does this organization push students to succeed academically, but it also allows them to build character by taking part in their communities through leadership roles and service. With this, I would take advantage of all the opportunities the society presented me to build my own character even further. In my years of high school, I have shown that I am qualified to join the society based on my performance in academics, character, leadership and service. Throughout my years, I have been able to maintain a GPA at a 4.0, while also balancing my time with sports, clubs and a job.

This scholarship is a wonderful opportunity for students of GVSU, and I am honored to be considered for this scholarship. I believe that I am a great applicant for this scholarship, and that I deserve this scholarship. One reason I deserve this scholarship is because of my strong academic courses. Throughout my high school career, I pushed myself academically by taking a total of 10 AP classes and 7 honors classes. These classes were all challenging, yet I pushed through with determination to complete the classes to the best of my ability.

Being a child of immigrant parents has taught me so much. For example, being able to work hard for what you want. At school, I always strive to get A’s. My parent’s have taught me to never settle for anything less than a B. They know that in order for me to go to college and be successful, I not only have to get good grades but work hard to get there.

To have a better future, every one of us desires the quality education that can give us a beautiful and happy life. As a part of this, we write competitive exams to pursue our favorite courses in our dream colleges. The ways to reach this objective may differ but there is one thing common for every aspirant.
Throughout my whole experience at Centennial, I have always wanted to join the National Junior Honor’s Society, so I feel very honored to have this opportunity to apply. Last semester, I was part of our school’s Student Council. Being in that group allowed me to see how important leadership is in our daily lives, in and outside of school. I also learned a whole lot about service, considering we had to complete one hour every week. All of these things are important, but the thing that I thought spoke to me personally was this year’s theme.
I should be captain because I 'm very hard working and I put in a lot of dedication , I make sure that when given a task I get it done, and I have so much school spirit in me that I would love to show my coaches and my team. Another reason why I should be captain is because I 'm ready for new challenges in cheer and I feel like captain would be a very good challenge for me to achieve. Being a captain might be hard but I 'm ready to take on the responsibility.
I had a really great friend named Emalie she was always the one I could rely on. I also had the greatest childhood friend still named Dakota, that was probably the best thing. Such a long friendship. I had a wonderful step mom who always supported me with everything I did. My father and mother started to work together, I got to spend more time with my father like I wanted to things just seemed like things couldn 't get worse.
As a senior at Little Falls High School, I truly believe my time here has brought me various opportunities to succeed and accomplish goals for not only myself, but my school and community as well. The opportunities given to the body of students at Little Falls stays true to the school 's mission statement: To be educationally affective and academically effective. Personally, all of my high school achievements, activities and future goals have and will continue to represent my experience at Little Falls. The most important thing a school can provide to its students is a quality education. Especially within Little Falls High School the tools that faculty, and even other students ensure provide an environment to which anyone can thrive.

Grades are extremely important, especially in junior year of high school because it is an opening for greater opportunities in the future. My first priority of excelling in school. I am currently number 13 in my class out of 362 students. This means I challenge myself with rigorous courses by taking AP, UCONN, and honors classes. Being accepted into this program I will prove how I am a dedicated, hardworking individual and serious about getting the most out of my education.
