Third, I participate in some kind of outside activity. My after school activity is softball, I have done softball for about one year. Softball is one of my favorite sports to play. I also help my family when we have to do yard work, the yard work that we do is weed picking, trash clean up, rake, pick up the tree limbs, etc. Service and citizenship are very important qualities for me and for
I feel I am exactly the type of person needed in your society. I have a positive attitude about learning; I enjoy participating in class; I am a very good leader; I follow directions; I am a responsible person and I believe I have a service oriented personality. I am fully aware that if I make the National Honor Junior Society I will have to attend after school meetings. Also have to attend and help in service activities. This does not affect my decision this just makes me appreciate it even more.
In high school I was a member of the National Honors Society, which required extra service projects and activities during the year. If I am to become a member of the Honors Program at Fairfield, I would look forward to continue the rigorous studies that the program has to offer. As my senior year in high school was coming to an end, I had the difficult decision of picking a college that would further my knowledge and development as a person. I choose Fairfield because I believed it would be the perfect place to continue my quest for knowledge and development. Of all the programs offered at this University I believe that the Honors Program is the perfect opportunity to continue my
It is an honor for me to be invited to join such an exclusive society of distinguished people. I am excited about being part of the National Honor Society in view of the limitless opportunities and the strong support system it represents for me. I consider myself a scholar, by reason of the fact that I thrive to excel in my academics and accomplish my best in any achievable way. Through my years as a student I have worked on helping my classmates and my community in any way I possibly can. By offering equine therapy to participating in the climate reality project I have demonstrated leadership and service to my community.
I will make sure to do my part by leading by example, serving my community and school, staying true to myself, and performing in school to the best of my ability. It would be an honor to be a part of such an extraordinary program in which I can better myself and my community. I am so thankful to the many teachers who have considered me as a candidate for the National Honor Society. As I aspire to become a member of this organization, I will make it my duty to be an active member in my community and will maintain my leadership, service, character, and scholarship
Today I am deeply humbled to be recognized as a potential member of the National Honor Society. To me this means I have exemplified everything you look for in a student who goes above and beyond, not just in academics but in athletics, the community and at home as well. I have not taken this selection for granted, as I believe would be a great asset to the National Honor Society. I am hardworking, honest, reliable and quite charismatic too. I hold all the qualities required by the distinguished NHS like leadership, service, character and scholarship.
Service is something that I enjoy to do because I get to help others. There are a lot of people that need help in this world, and small acts of service can go a long way. Throughout high school I have done many acts of service. I have volunteered at many different organizations in the Cedar Valley. During Christmas time I have rang the bell for the Salvation Army.
I am honored to be eligible amongst the meritorious students who are being considered for induction within the National Honors Society. Being an active member in this society has been something I have been looking forward to since middle school; having previous family members inducted, I regard it as a goal I must accomplish. I would be honored to be a member of this society which is known for benefitting children, the elderly, and the needy .These limitless opportunities of contributing to my community will help me grow as a person which will undoubtedly help me in my future career as oncologist and leave an impact on my fellow community members. The National Honors Society is a remarkable organization for someone who demonstrates leadership,
I strive through the aspect of scholarship to increase my knowledge. Through character I am driven to make right choices throughout my life. Through service I give back to my community and others. Lastly through leadership I take initiative to help others who are in
