National Junior Honor Society Analysis

It is a great honor to be nominated as a member of the National Honor Society. There are many reasons why I want to take part in NHS. One reason why I want to be in it is to continue to grow academically with people who have the same goals as me. I want to be encouraged, not discouraged by the people around me. If I get into NHS, it will give me a lot of opportunities to be a leader. I was delighted after receiving the letter informing me I was eligible to become part of the National Junior Honor Society. It would be a privilege to be accepted into such a prestigious group as the one listed. The NJHS is known for helping students learn leadership skills and unlock their full potential and I firmly believe that I would love to be a part of it. Being the fun loving people person that I am I have no problem working with other kids and or adults. I have many qualities that I would love to contribute to the

National Junior Honors Society needs people who are hard working, and are ready to get the job done. I should be considered to be in National Junior Honors Society because I show scholarship and leadership, I have done many community service activities, and I show character and citizenship.

Being one of the few who is eligible to be chosen for National Honor Society is an honor in itself, I have my teachers and peers to thank for helping me keep a positive attitude and a good character in and out of school. With the constant encouragement that I get from them, my character, scholarship and leadership all keep improving. I am hoping that by being chosen to be in NHS I can add serving the community and helping those in need to my list of improving qualities. Since the ninth grade when I was informed about NHS I was determined to keep my grades up to meet the required GPA, retaking exams when needed and paying close attention in my classes. Being a candidate for the National Honor Society is a tremendous honor for me. Since I began high school, it has been a goal of mine to be a part of this amazing organization. Being involved in my school and community has always been important to me, and any chance I get to further my involvement is great. I believe that NHS is the perfect opportunity for me to serve others and help better our community. I understand that a member of NHS shows qualities of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Throughout my life I have valued these qualities and shown them in many ways.

I am extremely honored to be eligible for this opportunity to apply for the National Honor Society. Becoming a member of the National Honor Society has been a goal I set for myself since I was a student in middle school. I have been greatly looking forward to this moment for a very long time. Overall, I have worked incredibly hard these last two years to display a positive character and obtain qualities such as leadership, responsibility, and scholarship. I strongly believe I will be a productive and reliable member of the National Honor Society at Harvard H. Ellis Technical High School.

Today I am deeply humbled to be recognized as a potential member of the National Honor Society. To me this means I have exemplified everything you look for in a student who goes above and beyond, not just in academics but in athletics, the community and at home as well. I have not taken this selection for granted, as I believe would be a great asset to the National Honor Society. I am hardworking, honest, reliable and quite charismatic too. I hold all the qualities required by the distinguished NHS like leadership, service, character and scholarship. Often time I see myself living by the quote “See the world not as it is, but as it should be” and I try to, to the best of ability everyday. Being in NHS would give me the chance to live out this quote wholeheartedly and inspire others to do the same.

Every week I spend time at the Morristown Medical Center as a volunteer, where I am able to help keep things functioning in the hospital at the highest speed possible and hopefully brighten a few patients’ days. Also, I’ve enjoyed helping refereeing youth basketball games for the past two seasons and being able to talk with the kids. It is a great opportunity to give back to a program which gave me so much in the five years I played in it when I was younger. Furthermore, I am excited for even more opportunities to have an impact on my community which being a part of National Honor Society would aid in.

It is an honor to be nominated for the National Honor Society. The fact that I was nominated proves to me that all of my hard work and dedication has not been for nothing. The National Honor Society is known for recognizing students who strive to achieve their best not only in school but in themselves and the community. I believe that I’m one of those students.

I greatly appreciate my nomination to be considered for induction into the National Honors Society. I would be honored to join such an organization as it would not only provide opportunities for myself, but also encourages and emphasizes the importance of service to community. Before and during high school, I have been active in serving the community in a consistent way. Other activities I do also influence and shape the way in which I approach service and leadership tasks.

Being selected to be a candidate for membership in the Kenwood chapter of National Honor Society is a great honor for me. It means that I have achieved my goal of demonstrating my determination to be a part of something that appreciates and values students with exceptional qualities. I believe that I am able to become a valuable member of the NHS because I am hard working, reliable and I possess all the qualities required by this prestigious organization, such as scholarship, leadership, character, and service abilities.

I've always taken joy in being a leader. Having the ability to help guide someone in the right direction intrigues me. That's why I would love to have a leadership position in National Junior Honors Society. I'm specifically interested in being the president, but if I don't get it, I would love to fill another position. I promise that if given the opportunity, I will be a responsible, honest, creative, committed, positive, and productive leader. As a new addition to NHS, I would vow to stand by my fellow classmates and help them reach their full potential. A capable leader needs to look after those around them, and I would dedicate myself to listening and helping others feel cared for and supported. My parents perpetually encourage me to have a commitment to education, it enables knowledge, power, and freedom. They teach me to go after my dreams, and always remind me “Nothing comes easy, you must work hard for your goals.” When I first came to the U.S, I was too young to understand my educational disadvantages.
